Jase 43,479
What a legend! You can't help but love his light hearted nature.Waiting for something silly to happen between him and Hazard. Feels like a match made in heaven.
headhunter23 70
do you guys think he is the preferred option to cahill because I highly doubt we are benching our captain.

headhunter23 70
Yeah, I think Terry - Luiz is our best CB pairing. In bigger games I trust cahill for some reason, he has matured a lot as a player but I feel as if cahill sometimes knows his responsibilities more. BleedsBlue 1,549
I don't if its just me but I find Cahill-Terry the best center back partnership for us.Not saying that Luiz is not good but Cahill is just better when Terry is the second choice for center back TorontoChelsea

CHOULO19 24,332
We are lucky to have 3 world-class CBs. I'd be very happy with any combination.

The Big Drog 1,110
Personally I prefer Terry/Luiz. I think Luiz is an outstanding player, an absolute joy to watch and it's not every centre back that you can say that about. Jase 43,479
For some reason, the Cahill-Terry combination looks much more solid. Both always committed and ready to throw themselves into any challenges. Not to say Luiz doesn't do that but it's the English thing here. Kojo 4,676
David Luiz such a great character. Entertaining defender, no surprised Barca wanted him, he fits there system perfectly. He would be great in a fluid squad because he can go upfront and cause damage.
OneMoSalah 8,886
We should play 3 CBs so we can have Luiz as the libero going on crazy runs like a beast. mediator

Popular Post! Duppy Conqueror 1,534 Posted July 20, 2012 Popular Post! Share Posted July 20, 2012 when he first came i liked him going forward but thought he was a liability at the back so used to get frustrated when people would gush over him about his super skills and forget that the most important aspect of a defenders game is his defending.he has adapted fully now though and i now rate him as a great CB. i guess the change was gradual but it was Benfica away where i was really struck by the vast improvement in his defending. all those needless rash tackles fouls had been ironed out of his game and the timing of his tackles and positioning now are superb.cost me a fortune tho as i was texting back to the u.k that Luiz is playing like Maldini. it`s like since Cahill was brought in he has become a new all better player.love the guy to bits now. a great attitude to life and i get the feeling he`s a real good guy to have in our locker room. foreign players can be nitemares for some clubs, with there being a rift but ever since the likes of Erland Johnsen arrived we have had a great chemistry between foreign and british players. Dennis Wise always made everybody welcome and let them know they were part of a family and free to express themselves and JT has kept that tradition going. royg, Wavy Crockett, Term-X and 2 others
royg 96
I know he is tactically skilled and he is good with the ball but whenever he dribbles the ball and an opponent around him makes me grip my nuts off.
BlueLion. 21,491
Luiz was a liability at times in the first 12 months of his stay in England - but under RDM he was quite possibly one of our best players. Duppy Conqueror
