He's a centre half end off.2 of the 3 pens he gave away were not pens, Alex made a horrific mistake against WBA then gave away a stupid penalty against Fulham but no one is bashing him. Helguson pushed on him on the edge of the area right before the penalty and he didn't go down because he's actually a man. He worked his ass off for the team and I can't fault him for the pen. That referee was a cheater, things like that happen all the time in PL, and he said it was a penalty, The referee also sent off Bonsingwa and did not see a penalty in Lampard.How many stupid mistakes and fouls Mikel use to make? and you and other guys keep saying he is world class and has a huge role in the team...Luiz is a audacious defender, and imo he has a huge role in the team. Genk game, unnecessary challenges at the beginning but changed later on and sorted himself out and was more disciplined, he proved he can change. This game, well it was a penalty, a foul no doubt Luiz did exactly what helguson wanted, why nudge him?, make contact with the ball when it comes down FFS. The scary thing was Luiz didn't even look at the ball when he made contact, it was uneccesary and clumsy.And Tomo-91, I disagree I think they were pens, the Fulham game Dempsey was looking for it no doubt because he kicked the ball away, but Luiz gambled wrong, and it wasn't clumsy at all, if it was Terry he just would of jockeyed him as he usually does.Luiz is a good defender who needs to start thinking and keep calm instead of gambling all the time, he needs to have patience and jockey or Mark the opponent in a normal situation. U people have to accept however he is going to get cards and concede free kicks and penalties, because he's that defender, my opinion of the matter overall is, that he just gambles to much on tackles when ge should be patient, only in dire situations he should always gamble.
