Thought its worth noting the way we seem to be operating in the transfer market now, and worth praising.

Our board has gotten abuse about our transfer policy and the way we sign players, But currently we've signed a two young players already for next season, In positions that need strengthing. The Marko Marin transfer took everyone by suprise and was kept underwraps until it was annouced, and now out of the blue it seems Hulk is on his way.

Are we seeing a change in comparsion to 'Be linked with him all summer, and lose him at the last minute' ala Robinho, Or 'Ok, Aguero said he'll join us, lets just wait and the sign him'.

If we continue to conduct our dealings in this manner we could pull of some great signings, It eliminates rivals like City or Madrid hearing about it and outbidding us.

We need to move quicker in the transfer windows, get our business done early, especially this summer with Euro 2012 coming up..... don't want to sit negotiating with a club and then see that player do well at the Euros and have their prices inflate because of that.

Great point. Get Hulk and Moutinho in quickly with a respected manager and we'll be striking terror in the league before the season even starts.

Just image how positive winning the CL would be for our transfer prospects.

Exactly if we get the right transfers done early and a manager in/give Robbie the job, we will be in a very positive position before the start of the season. Winning the CL would make us a much more attractive option for some players as well and we'd be back in the CL for the season coming up too.

About Marin we'll know if he was a good buy or not , he didn't play a lot of matches this year , i just hope that he'll play like he did in the 2009-2010 season.

I have a feeling this summer it will be Hulk, despite what media reports are saying about an 'agreement'. I'm sure Porto will deny this and it'll keep dragging through the whole summer and we'll sign someone like Rodellega instead.

Well the deal seems very likely to go through. Hulk's agent has said he will leave. We have been chasing him for a while. We're assuming he wants to come to Chelsea. All the pieces seem to be falling in place for an eventual deal. Keep in mind however, we could be wrong.
