Do you ever think before you post here ? What the fuck you talking about treblinka here ?

This salute was used multiple times as an anti-semetic symbol, like the example of Trablinka.

Therefore, this salute IS in fact an anti-semetic salute, not only "against Israel"..

Your interpretation of his salute is wrong ! Why is it, that Jewish people always interpret things to something against you ?

How is it wrong? I just proved to you that it is an anti-semetic salute.

And my example was one of many.

And just for the record, I couldn't care less about him being anti-semetic, I just dont think its appropriate as a goal celebration.

You proved nothing. You only assumed, that´s all. What he meant by it, no one knows or perhaps you do ?

As i said, these notions of anti-Semitic is always on minds of Jewish people, somehow.

Oh I see, so I suppose it's ok to make a Nazi salute if you dont mean it as a Nazi salute..

The fact is, that it doesnt matter what HE meant, it matters what the salute means.

well, that's sort of contradictory isn't it? I mean a meaning of a gesture goes on perspectives. Anelka's perception isn't anti-semetic, whereas yours is?

First of all, how can you know that? (not that I can)

Secondly, his prespective is not the only thing that matters, what the salute means matters aswell. You can't just ignore the fact that this act is being used as a moden anti-semetic salute.

My criticism is not towards Anelka's prespective but rather towards him doing this salute, the act itself - regardless of the meaning he put behind it.

Lets say we sign a player from X country, and in that country the Nazi salute is being used as a friendly gesture. When this player scores the first goal for us, he uses that salute to celebrate the goal - is that ok ? he did not at all mean it as a Nazi thing, he totally meant it as a friendly gesture.

Still, its not ok because other people recognize it as an anti-semetic Nazi salute.

You get my point?

Definitely it was foolish of him to even unintentionally do handsigns like these, but -and I don't mean to start any endless arguments- why is it that anything to do with nazism gets so high attention whereas sovietism never hasn't been treated as equal regime of brutality and suffering.

From Wikipedia on Dieudonne: "He has been condemned in court several times for antisemitic remarks. Since 1997, Dieudonné has regularly stood in parliamentary and European Union elections as a candidate at the head of fringe or splinter parties, and has tried and failed to run in two French presidential elections (2002 and 2007). He openly supported Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's views on Israel and the Jewish people. He has made "heil" like signs on television as part of a sketch that made controversy.

Anelka is supposdely friends with this guy, and he has a picture with him doing the salute thing.

any of you think it's ok that he made this celebration?

@Christo191 - I didn't say Nazi, I said anti-semetic and I did not say he actually was anti-semetic, just that his salute on the celebration was (regardless of what he may have thought it meant)

As far as I understand, the one who invented the gesture intends it as an anti-Zionism/anti-establishment gesture. What politics turns it into Is another story.

On any account, political gestures do not belong on a football pitch and he will deservedly get a fine.

Most people are getting tired of these constant jewish accusations & snivels.

Every fucking time, somebody raise their hand, it´s Nazi salute,anti-Semitic or anti-Zionist, all because somebody said so.

Why are people being punished for something that " jewish lobby " interpret according to their choice ?

Deservedly. It's like Wilshere giving City fans the finger and saying he didn't mean anything by that.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is suspended as well.

Stupid Jack enticed violence, then. What exactly Anelka meant by it, nobody knows. Perhaps, he saluted his dead friend, then ?
