Lab lost the elections because of their archaic "let's go back to socialism" campaign.

The Tories, who are also socialist but among themselves, won.

In Greece -which is a different kettle of fish altogether but bearing similarities- socialists won but nothing works. You pick up the phone and it's dead, you turn on the water tap and it's empty.

sorry cosmic that couldnt be further wrong. Labour were competing with the tories over who could be more on the right, slashing welfare cuts.

The tories did a very successful negative campaign playing on peoples fears of labour doing deals with the SNP.

Meanwhile Hamas arms children to fight and murder Israelis and regularly shows cartoons depicting the kids' favourite characters getting killed by Jews.

The Tories aren't even that conservative anymore. They've now almost become liberal in the way they deal with matters.

As a matter of fact even The Economist wrote about that recently, recommend reading this: http://www.economist.com/news/britain/21657412-george-osborne-well-way-balancing-britains-books-now-he-hopes-reshape

If you're gonna balance out your books then there will have to be cuts.

If anything the reason for all this austerity from the Tories is cos successive Labour governments used the classic socialist strategy of 'bribing the voters' by overspending and putting Britain into the debt crisis that it is in.

Labour received a balanced budget in '97 and they turned it into more than a trillion pounds in debt......

The football season begins.

The dreaded politicians will go back down, below, to their morbid hideouts.
It's the age of the push button war but we have no button to make the scoundrelous ruffians vanish for ever.

The best of them is an accomplish of the great train robbery.

One who tears his clothing every day about all and sundry told me this once in private:

"drat, that girl, the tv hostess mrs xxxxx, charges so much for one invitation, where am I going to find it ?".

Huh ? What's the strange part ?

Perhaps you have heard of the grooming allowance BBC pays to mr. Cameron whenever he speaks. But that's only the BBC.

Don't know about that seeing as the Tory's are trying to destroy the B.B.C and. the N.H.S.. They also want to bring back fox hunting and systematically destroy the unions. The B.B.C. series The House of Cards as good as it was had two other parts to it. The second one To Play The King is to an extent overlooked. Michael Kitchen is basically playing Prince Charles minus the ears. He's a do gooder who frequently clashes with Urqhart's more or less fascist government. This was made in 1994 and is fiction but i'm sure Cameron saw this show and thought yes that's good enough for me. The rich wallowing in there greed and avarice while the rest of the country has fuck all and struggle to make ends meet.
