That's eight changes from Barcelona match and pretty much the lineup I'd hoped for a few pages back. Didn't think Di Matteo would even think about actually playing some lineup like that for such and important match but what a pleasant surprise.

today's team lacks a source of attack. no lampard, no mata, no drogba to stick it up front. i think we will be short of ideas in the middle today. for all the pace this team has, someone has to step-up and pick out the passes . also essien should play upto his calibre today if we are to have a chance of winning

Good to see Romeu finally getting a game! I think he deserves some playing time because whenever he has played he really has impressed me!

He'll probably be a bit rusty though, will be interesting to see how he does alongside Ess.

Don't know what think about Malouda playing behind Torres, would be very surprised if it worked. Bos in the starting line-up always makes me uncomfortable but it's good to see Sturridge in the starting line-up.
