Munich is the best team on paper imo.

This season, only one key player is injured coming in (Thiago) and they got significant pieces in Lewandowsk(CF)i, Rode(CM/RB), Bernat(LB) and the return of Batsduber(CB).

Pep got more options now and may even bring in both hoiberg/green to more first team shots this season.

In the preseason, pep been doing some crazy things with the team, so I have no clue how the team will line up and in which formation. He's been playing 3-4-3 so far....

Ribery and Robben are declining further. Kroos their best midfielder left, Schweinsteiger will never be as good after his injury. But true they have a hell of a squad and a league that rolls over to them so they can save energy. They are defo favourites for the cl title just before real and barca.

I think Robben will be fine, but Ribery is a concern. His age is showing (however, their were reports that he was playing with a back injury during most of 2014....)

Their best midfielder is the brazilian, not Kroos. Thiago is more dynamic and can pass better in pep's system.

Neuer

Lahm/rafinha/weiser-Boateng-Dante/batsduber-alaba/bernat

Bastian-Martinez/Rode

Robben/Muller-Gotze/Thiago-Ribery/shaq

Robert/Pizzaro

I highly doubt madrid will win, it took them years to win la decima and barcelona is an enigma atm. Xavi rumored to be gone and they still didn't buy a cb. Who knows how good their GK will be...

There are very few bigger cunts in football than Pep Guardiola:

I have to defend guardiola here, I still think he has to shake hand but his player got tackled pretty hard a couple times in pre-season game.

Any coach will be livid.

Of course he has the right to be upset, just like Jose was against Pellets, but not shaking the managers hand was the absolute cunt move.

Celtic went through to the next round. What a shame for Legia.

The lesson is if you have won by 4 goals difference aggregate in the first leg, then you just have to play your suspended player in the 2nd leg and you will went through automatically whatever the result in the 2nd leg is.

Do you think it was a bit harsh on Legia given that the player only played 3 minutes and the result was already beyond doubt?

Or do you think it was Legia's fault for not checking?

Depend on your point of view. Personally, I think it is harsh decision, but at the same time I don't understand how they could make that kind of mistake. Also Uefa and match official has to be blame too, they should check and remind Legia if there is suspended player in the team news. Replay for the 2nd leg would be more fair in my opinion.

I sympathise with them but UEFA doesn't need to remind them, the rules are there clear for anyone to see. It's just pure stupidity IMO.

Shame, what is their job actually? Just as a witness and make a report if something wrong happened?

Haha no, they're the governing body of European football, they set the general rules, regulate clubs with stuff like FFP, sanction and organise European competitions i.e. The CL or the Euros etc...

The rules are clearly stated, and for a professional club like Legia it's embarrassing that they couldn't adhere to a simple rule like that. Even if it's only 3 mins, rules are rules.

I know that :)

I mean the UEFA official who sent to be there in every european matches. Must at least one official stand by in every european matches, if I'm not wrong.

Ah I see. Yeah, all the UEFA official does is pretty much report back to UEFA what has happened in a match report I would imagine. I can imagine that he probably didn't know the player was suspended before hand though, whilst Legia definitely would've known. Either way, I don't think UEFA really have that much of an obligation to go as far as reminding a professional club about the rules.
