Bayern look less impressive with each round that goes by.

Didn't you read this thread and the Chelsea UCL thread? A lot of people actually believe this Bayern team is better than last season's.

I keep saying all other German teams got a lot worse especially Dortmund which may give the illusion this team is better when imo is definitely worse

This Bayern team is better than last season's, it is plain obvious!

The difference is that last year they were in a mission, which was to erase 2012's home loss to Chelsea. Now, they are complacent as fuck and they think they can score whenever they want. The disparity between them and their home league also doesnt help..

Barcelona is a good example of this: the team that will ultimately be remembered will be the 2011 squad and that 3-1 final at Wembley, but they were much better in 2012 when they lost to us!

This is football and anything can happen, but I highly doubt they will lose a trophy this season.

Bayern is boring, weaker, all German teams are weaker than last year. Only a dimwit cannot see it.

Manures were unlucky last night not to win. Inexperienced Wellbeck should have scored, easily.

However, in Munich the Germans are gonna bore Manures to tears with passing & score, then.

As for Atletico, as I said, watch out for this team. They are hungry, playing great football, I believe they can knock Barca´s dwarfs out. Too bad, Costa is injured.

Bayern is less good than last year, less dynamic, creates less chance, less flexible tactically, concede more goalscoring opportunity,...

In all their knock-out games last year I think they conceded 5/6 goalscoring opportunity, Arsenal created more in one game.

Even Bayern fans says so.

Well said.

As I said those who cannot see Bayern being less effective, hungry for success are either blind or should give up watching football. The whole german league is one big joke. Dortmund is way off from last year, Bayern already won the league..Lol

Even though, I do not like Manures, but I would rather see them advanced than Bayern.

Moyes wanted retrospective action against diving......then Rooney dives and Bastian gets sent off

Apparently what happened is that Schwienstiger was 'unlucky' to get sent off. If it were anyone other than Rooney then it would have been the kind of diving that is destroying football.

There was actually a Vidic one that was actually worse a few minutes before where he and Mandzukic jumped for an aerial ball and he went down clutching his face as if he'd been elbowed in the nose but in fact Mandzukic barely touched his chin. Absolutely disgraceful attempts by united to get Bayern players sent off.

Come on 19. It was not as bad as you pictured it, then.

Fuck Bayern, I would say.

I don't think bayern are "weaker". If anything, their squad is "stronger".

The problem is pep here. From a very balanced, direct play team, he has changed them to a tiking and taakaing bunch of footballers. I mean its a different thing playing muller as a false 9 against a small german team with gotze and alcantara/kroos continously swapping positions. But yesterday, they played muller as a proper striker ahead of mandzukic. Idiotic. That's all I can say.

Bayern are definitely not going to change this style of play, atleast not under pep the overrated.

Bayern were actually worse. Robben with a couple of his typical dives and Boateng's acting and rolling around after that Valencia challenge was worthy of an Oscar.

But you'd expect that from a Pep side, not from the "ambassadors of English football"

Bayern got what they deserved. Robben clearly dived against Arsenal....Rooney dived against Bayern, payback

Doesn't really work like that. Two wrongs don't make a right. The solution would be to have retrospective bans on dives then no one would dive.

I am not sure whether Pep was seriously being considered for Chelsea´s coaching, but I am in heaven not to see him with Chelsea. This man, plays the most boring football around. One of the reasons, I always despised Barca was because of their styles. I even can accept Chelsea´s bus tours, but his possession tactics, just bores me to tears.
