Think Arse are gonna win it, ffs. 🤦‍♂️

They're pretty rock solid defensively and in midfield and as we saw with both PSG & Barca yesterday they’re both prone to shitting themselves just as much as they are of producing magic.

If Arse can keep the remaining matches close and frustrate the hell out of the attackers from their opponents I think they win it all. 🤬

Real Madrid's only goal against Arsenal was a gift. This has to be the first real shock of this season's CL.

Tbh, they probably should have been knocked out against Atletico. Signing Mbappe isn't what this side needed.

they are fucked at fullback and CB and and have no true CF in the entire squad

only Rudiger is WC and playing in their back 4

Carvajal with the horror injury cooked them at RB (and he is ageing out, so that injury will be so hard to come back from)

Mendy is shit at LB (in terms of Real level), despite Carlo ludicrously saying he is best LB on the planet (and he is also injured as well)

PSG gonna trash them bad.

not a statement I would make

although Partey out puts HUGE extra pressure on Rice in MF

they have 2 options there

Jorginho and the other is to put Merino back into MF

then they truly have to CF (even in theory), no real target in the box, other than MAYBE play Trossard at CF/false nine

Modric is on his last legs as well. They need some serious reinvestment in the summer. TAA won't help them defensively.

I'd imagine Ancelotti will be gone in the summer (maybe he'll finally take the helm of the Brazilian NT).

Yeahhh that's how I feel. Today was made out to be a test..it really wasn't so easy. 5-1 overall isn't a fluke

Urghhhh they deserve it given how they've played and how they've won their games but nooooo... don't want it!

Thing is, when you look at that Arse team and they show us exactly what we desperately need in certain areas but at the same time we are right on their level in other key areas.

In CM we are even I’d say. We will likely even have better depth than they will entering next season when Andrey Santos returns and we have that kid from Sporting to add to Caicedo, Enzo, and Lavia.

In that #10 spot Odegaard & Palmer are of similar quality level.

Neither of us have a true CF and will be bringing one in this summer.

Saka aside I wouldn’t take any of their wide players over ours and ours aren’t that great.

The only huge difference between us and them in CB & keeper. If we can have one of those surgical summers like we did when we bought Cesc and Costa a decade ago we can take a huge leap. If these owners were deadly serious and went out and splashed the cash on Osimhen, a world class CB, and a top keeper we would instantly be title contenders.

Trouble of course is that these guys will instead go out and get a project striker, a good but not great or even better than what we have CB, and not get a keeper at all.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is expected to leave the club after the Copa del Rey final on April 26, Sky Sports News understands.

Ancelotti cast doubt over his future as Real head coach after Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final defeat to Arsenal, which saw his team lose 2-1 at home and 5-1 on aggregate.

It is understood the 65-year-old will remain in place until the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona in Seville but is expected to depart the club after that game.

Real and Barcelona are fighting it out for the domestic double, with Ancelotti's side sitting four points behind Barca in the league with seven games to play.

The pair meet in El Clasico on May 11 but the Italian is not expected to be in charge for the game in Barcelona.

Weirdest thing if true.. They are running for domestic double and planning to kick him out in the end of April? Real didn't manage their squad properly, but it's not like they nosedived this season..

It seems no secret Real is running for Xabi Alonso, but why don't they just finish the season with Carlo...

Xabi Alonso is a risky move to replace Ancelotti - good coach but Leverkusen and Madrid 2 different propositions all together, even if he won the Bundesliga. Particularly with Hansi Flick going in and completely kickstarting a new direction with Barcelona. Looks like they have the structure they needed with him.

If I were Madrid, I’d be throwing everything at Klopp. He can certainly handle egos/big personalities (proved with Salah & Mane) and has a reputation for his sides competing against the biggest teams (a lot at Dortmund before they fell off & obviously period at Liverpool).

is ancelotti done? 65 years is a lot. asked a few days ago here, wonder if he would be opet for coming back here.

He is heavily linked with Brazil for years now. Also he doesn't fit BlueCo project.
