Jase 43,479
Only once in 13 years have Chelsea emerged victorious from Villa ParkHence, the 1 win from our last 12 visits there. Every other of the Top 7 team this season have beaten Aston Villa comfortably and we suffered an embarrassing defeat at home to such a poor team! Pathetic really. Jype 6,398
Villa will probably be well up for this now.Or just the opposite, we'll never know until after the match.
Cripen 110
I know it is hard to play for us at that stadium, but Villa is in bad form and they have numerous of injures... please rest Mata
Ollie 4,400
Think it'll be a draw. I know Villa have been in crap form but when have we gone there in the last 14 years and said, 'shit, Villa are a great side, we have no chance'? We've always been favourites on paper. Now their captain has Leukaemia they'll fight even harder for him. I predict a boring, uninspiring 0-0 stalemate. Even when they were piss poor and we were awesome, we never won there. Not in 03/04, 04/05, 05/06, 09/10.
kingofchelseadom 41
Considering we just beat Benfica i would hope we grab 3 points from Villa.

capriccioso 2,545
How much effect will the Petrov affair have on them? Will we face a team determined to win or a team thats got its attention fixed on their sick captain?

Will we face a team determined to win or a team thats got its attention fixed on their sick captain? It could be either way but all I know is, we better be up for this! If the players perform to their maximum, then I'm sure we can get that 3 points regardless of which Villa turn up.

Madmax 9,219
Putting everything aside, we really should be beating Villa today. Bent, N'Zogbia, Dunne, Hutton and Petrov all missing - no excuse for anything less than 3 points.
petr.breu 1,618
Chelsea players run out with shirts saying 'Our thoughts are with you' on the front and 'Petrov 19' on the back
Shabstheman 0
Considering the amount of injuries that villa have to their key players, there is no reason why we cant beat them despite our bad away formCoupled with the confidence that we have at the back of that champions league victory, this match should be a a stroll at the park for us

Slam Dunk 1,442
That's a very attack-minded team. Think we might miss Ramires, although I can understand he needs a rest. Hopefully Mata can come off early as well.annoyed hes playin kalou but glad hes playing sturridge for onceWhy? He deserves a game for his performance vs Benfica. chihiro3334 6
Unsure as to why Drogba isn't even on the bench, especially considering we have 2 full-backs on it AND a centre-back?
