he definitely deserves the job with chelsea.

Even people says that AVB deserves another year and AVB seriously was a big mess, why on earth that roman still want to bring another manager to Chelsea if RDM can bring the stabilty with the old player?

Imagine if he can buy his favourite player who really can fit with RDM tactics.

That's gonna be epic.

If it aint broke don't fix it, so far robbie is doing a great job he has the older players back on side and is getting a performance out of them when it matters, he's got torres scoring, he showed tactical nouse in beating barcelona over two legs and he will be given the slack from the fans when/if results hit a lull due to his stature from he's playing days (not to mention if he were to win that final on the 19th).

If we were to get guardiola can anyone say in all certainty that he could do for us what he done at barca? same as jose potentially coming back who's to say he could do what he done here originally? there are no guarantees that either would work so for me it seems stupid to get rid of somebody who is working, whether he can build a new team or do it for a whole season who knows but there is only one way to find out.

I firmly believe RDM will get the job, but if Pep Guardiola is available then is there no chance Roman pass up the opportunity to sign him. Roman loves Barca football way too much, he will sign him if Pep wants to continue managing.

I find it interesting that Marin has come out today and talked about his discussions with Robbie prior to making the move. Robbie outlined his vision for the club, both short and long term, and Marin lapped it up. Also with all the talk that Robbie has had input and been told to keep himself available for the club's pre season arrangements, he has to be at the forefront of the minds of the board.

I agree with many, the club cannot lose if they give him a year contract to show what he is capable of over the course of a full season. If he proves as successful as he has this season give him an extension further down the line. If he doesn't then we can let him leave at the end of next season for no compensation and Roman can bring in Guardiola, fresh from a break, again for no compensation.

Another thing to consider with the FFP rules is that Robbie is apparently only on £1.2m pa. If we were to increase it to even £2-2.5m, his wages would still be massively lower than the big names out there.
