Ollie 4,400
Its so odd (or maybe not) how similar AVB's first season is similar to Scolari's:1. Starting the season by playing good, attacking football.2. Beaten by liverpool and arsenal at home during the start of the season.3. Barely crawled out of the group stage of the CL4. Danger of going out to an Italian side (last time Juventus) in the champions league at the first knockout stage.5. Drogba losing his regular starting spot, with Torres having joined in winter transfer window, just like Anelka did in 2008.6.Talks of player unrest.7. Manager sacked around the halfway point in the season.I would take the end if offered.8. Made UCL Semi9. Whipped Arsenal 4-1 at the Emirates10. Finished in the top 411. Won the FA Cup

Rubber bullets 1,183
With about 3/4 of the Chelsea fanbase completly jerking off to fantasy dreams of Jose have some grandious return, I feel terribly sorry for whoever actually gets the job, especially if its someone like David Moyes. MGuerreiro 252
We've dug our own grave. What manager wants to come to us now, seriously. Rodgers was absolutely right. I'm hoping for Mourinho, but expecting someone like Benítez.

Krypt 241
Just played around with the BBC result predictor and we finished 5th and that was with beating city arse and spurs. what manager or players do you think we will be able to attract without CL football ? i know its hypothetical at this stage , but for the first season in the Roman era its a high possibility..
