Alli was born in April 1996, and RLC in January 1996. Still, Alii is one of the best players in the League, and he is a candidate for that titulus. He plays a lot, he is in first 11 of the Spurs. And look at our RLC. He is maybe even bigger talent then Alli, but he has no chance to prove it. He doens't play how much he shoud. It's bad bab bad club's policy and manager's governing. Shameful 3 months younger than RLC you mean then Caeruleus

Personally that midfield can adapt to do or be anything. I'd probably put Palmer on the bench as a weekly fixture too. Kid can smell goals. Afaik, I'd also not be averse to buying one of the England fullbacks - Rose or Clyne would be ideal. Unfortunately, as hard to accept as it is, if we want anything but defensive fullbacks, it involves getting rid of Dave. And if we don't want to do that, then we've got a kid called Aina who reminds me of Ivanovic with his raw strength.

LondonsFinest 692
Im interested to see if bellion is ever happy with anything. Happy the general opinion here is no different from mine. I would also like to adress that people claim Pogba is an unreal B2B, yet he does not have the workrate of a horse. He just has better stamina. So if Ruben can raise that, he'll be ready. Just trust him. He looks good. And to be completely honest, I'd rather Ruben's sometime lazy, but physical, good short- passing self to Fabregas's off form. chelseafan26 293
After today's line up, I honestly hope he puts in transfer request. Kid your dream of being a lampard wont be possible because you will be dropped for players who have a higher market value. I love this kid, and hopefully he leaves before we ruin his career. lucio 5,418
as the youngest player in the team, you have to take the blame for the defeat, and get benched, even if you were our best performer. chelseafan26
Special Juan 28,141
Should be starting but isn't, it's a very sad state of affairs at Chelsea FC right now, very sad. Chelseabluerising, Essien19 and chelseafan26

lucio 5,418
again looked pretty good, just got 83 minutes less than he deserved. he must start vs spurs, a slow immobile midfield, will see us destroyed by 3 or 4. Whats weird is that people simply dont learn. Now I read that cesc can play the pirlo role, that Cesc is a must for next season, Hazard will be the PFA player of the year blah blah blah. People must have really short memories because we just got raped at the bridge, in front of my own eyes. But since we won against Bournemouth, everything is hunky-dory. Unbelievable. BlueLyon 9,359
I know our team won 4:1 and Im happy with the result or performance, BUT RLC played two very good games and all reward he gets is last 10 minutes in following game? Im sure he wasnt injured or tired whatsoever. Now obviously Matic and Mikel need playtime aswell, but its up to club to look into future. If we planned on selling Mikel, there was little need to keep playing him. But the board obviously values him higher than currenty our best youth player. And that says alot. Thats what is wrong with the club and why we dont succeed in youth to first team transition. Because we keep spending time with players like Mikel, Iva who should not be considered our future and as result negate RLC, Baba etc. I have tons of respect to Iva and Mikel for what they did, but I simply dont see them anywhere near team if we actualy want to compete for top again. Meanwhile, RLC plays two good games and he gets benched. And that is by far not the only example. Where is Kenedy these days (is he injured?) Once the club will start looking in future, grow some balls and experiment little more, only then we might see some positive out of youth school. Playing RLC these final games when we have nothing to lose, while Ruben would get invaluable experience that might turn him into our midfielder for next 10 years or playing Mikel because he had decent season (and we still had poor results) because someone in board thinks he could be starter next season... We gotta start giving some younger players a serious chances and not just playing players based on their fame. jernej93, Clevemayer and robsblubot

Captain Ahmed 528
RLC is actually my favorite player for many reasons (his maturity at this age,he is from the academy,ect...).
