Small advance Gerrard had was that he won CL, while Lamps won PL. Well now, Lamps have won both.

Perhaps Gerrard was top in 2005/2006/2007, but Lampard is doing fantastic for past 10 years, consistantly good.

I can't belive you really compare STevie G. to lamps, lamps ist one of the most underrated footballers that have lived on this planet, he should've won that award in 2005 and any one saying gerrard has a better vision, shooting or passing... I'm lost for words, this isn't true :facepalm:

Creativity:

Lamps all day long, he has a sublime pass in his feet and knew exactly how to shift the game, and WHEN to shift a game, play it through the middle, quick passing, sideways or longrange shot, we've been so limited when lampard and Mikel both wheren't on the field at AVB's tenure, because you saw nobody where trying to shift sides, romeu and others didn't even CONSIDER play'n other than through the middle, this was awkward

Technique:

Lamps wins in this department too, only because of his bully stature you are likely to oversee this, but his quick foot work is sublime, Gerrard stands no Chance what so ever

Speed:

this goes defo to Gerrard, he is much quicker than lamps, albeit only for 3 Seasons because for me Stevie G.'s carreer is over for 2 Seasons now and thats a fact

So for all this ppl say'n lamps only played so well because of his good Team around him, what about thinking the other way round, clearly Lamps has profitited from that but he managed to Play DESPITE all this big names, Stevie G. had Alonso and Mascherano, can't stand both of them but still they're to class midfielders. Lamps beats the shit out of Gerrard in every sence and nearly every departmant, we should be proud to have witnessed such a Midfielder in our ranks and haveing watched him, its not a Scum Chels thing, its for me a Fact. outside England Lamps has a so much higher Ranking then over there, don't know why, for creativity and what lamps has done:
