5354 204
Considering we are going to have a new "project" the upcoming season...Out:- Ashely Cole- Paulo Ferreira (your wages are too high)- José Bosingwa- Frank Lampard- Florent Malouda- Yossi BenayounIn:- Ryan Bertrand- New RB for cover- Kevin De Bruyne - New creative midfielder with good technique (someone like Modric)- Kevin De Bruyne - A decent right wingerSquad should look like this:CechIvanovic Cahil Luiz BertrandMC - ESSIEN - MCMata - Sturridge/Lukaku/Torres - De BruyneSubs: Turnbull, Terry, RB cover, Romeu, Ramires, Meireles, Torres/LukakuIdea is that Ramires will be substituded when we need fresh legs or some pace. Ramires IMO is not good enough to be starting for matches. Other than his pace, haradwork and his ocassional footwork, theres nothing else he can do. Fulham Broadway 17,363
You'll see a galvanising of the players now -an improvement in results and performance, its a way of saying we didnt need the bearded cunt....
manpe 10,861
I see no evidence that the transition will happen now. We've been saying the same thing for 5 years now. We wanted the club to start rebuilding the moment Jose got sacked, but it's yet to happen... instead we got players like Deco and Belletti who lasted what, one season? Under AVB it was pretty clear that he wanted to change things, he used the word "extreme" when describing his plans. AVB: "If, in the next seven years, we have that may trophies again, we can reflect on these two years of change (more positively). They would have been two years where we rebuilt for a better future. I'm concentrating on building something extreme for next year, when there will be a higher expectancy of Chelsea because of what might have been a two-year gap being trophy-less."The next manager, who comes in summer, might start "assessing" those turds once again. Hopefully Di Matteo will be here to brief him about their uselessness and spare him from the agony of "assessment".
LDN Blue 7,903
I feel sorry for players like Luiz, Mata, Romeu. They were André's players (I know Ancelotti signed Luiz, but he played his heart out for André). Who knows if they'll get the same response under a new manager.. Sigh. francozola 2,040
I pray for this exodus. Even if we replace them with lesser talent, because they'll be André's picks.Click on this thread and this is the first post I get taken to :(
Laylabelle 9,539
Be hard for transition to happen because we're back in the same situation.manager comes in late, little time to asses the team/makes impact signings.Thinks everything be okay and wam soon realises everything isnt and the team can be kinda shite
francozola 2,040
I agree with FB (but not his opinions) that we'll probably see a run of good results now. We might even beat Napoli. Because these disgraceful players will want to send out a message that they have won.And the delusional fans will accept it and use it as evidence that AVB was the problem, not the players. Laylabelle 9,539
Yeah probably, they do as well tend to perform under a new manager/after a change for a while. Then the usual 'mehness' comes back in

manpe 10,861
Talking about players. There is even smaller chance now that top talents would want to join us. Bye bye Hazard!
TacticalBlues 2,817
I'm concentrating on building something extreme for next year, Everybody should post this too the Chelsea board, by mail or letter. Get it through their thick ignorant heads, we are not a short term project! We've just let go of a intelligent young manager's plan that seemed to have all the ingredients of success. He was vying the right players in Hulk, Lucas, Hazard, Pato, Cavani, Neymar and looked ready to let the aging leave in summer! There are abundant sources confirming this which just rubs salt in the wounds."Pain is temporary It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever. " In this case he was sacked.
Mr. Ziggles 110
Everyone is saying "new manager will assess squad, make impact signigns, everything's looking goo- oh fuck we're screwed" but we have a good chance of something better. The new manager will realise he can't assess the squad, he will know who needs to stay just like that. The bad season under Carlo was just bad, but this is now extreme. We need to remove the shit deadwood, just like AVB intended to when he actually would be given time.
LDN Blue 7,903
Exactly. Hulk will definitely not be wanting to join us now, probably will follow André to Inter.

They come in with little time usually. And obviously the players put on a performance, seems like everything fine and then become unstuck. Then have people moaning they didnt sign many players/get rid.Because half the time they dont realise how bad things will be!!!Unless they decide within the few weeks who will come in and then least they can watch the team from somewhere. If they start looking in summer then thats pointless and daft. But with the board no surprisingAnd why would big name wants to join a club where in the space of a season they could end up playing under 2 different managers

kiaretta985 131
now that the season is 120% fucked up and we have nothing left to lose, I think we should give the "kids" an opportunity.
Peace. 4,352
now that the season is 120% fucked up and we have nothing left to lose, I think we should give the "kids" an opportunity. How wan we give kids an opportunity ? The next manager who will dare to bench the old players (yes, to give youth an opportunity) will undergo a Coup d'État form the Old Guard Military Force.
