Well Azpicilueta did not get much chances earlier and the few he has gotten he has impress and improve.

This last game against Schalke being the best.

Giving how Mourinho is I think and I hope he keeps using Azpi since he has put a good shift. He earned it.

I say KDB will have to do the same in the coming weeks.

I don't really blame Jose for KDB status. I blame the board....

Their is no way a coach was going to rotate 6 cams in 3 positions....I fully expect 1-2 of the currents ams to be gone this summer.

With Moses the only realistic possibility of making the team that are out on loan right now (am wise).

Being the main cog for Belgium isn't pertinent to the discussion when it comes to Chelsea FC. Mourinho may be dicking around in other positions where we lack personnel but not in the three behind the striker. At the moment Kevin is sixth choice, it's a meritocracy that's divided in two aspects; intrinsic innate talent and level of performance.

Kevin is a great player, but not greater than the other five.

And yes, as I've said before, KDB would walk into any starting 11 in the PL bar ours, and Citys or maybe Spurs, he's that good.

Hard to show merit when you get no time to play. As I mentioned Kevin is best crosser on Chelsea by wide margin and it's not even remotely close. The stats bear it out.

Only Oscar could claim be to be as influential to his National team success and Oscar hasn't been as influential for Brazil.

But hey, stay happy wins against lesser opponents and just ignore the fact that Chelsea will get stymied against top quality opponents because there's no width on the pitch.

I guess winning the CC and silver medal and u-20 wc and even the South american youth tournament is less than what KDB accomplish for Belgium.....Or the fact that he has more caps for a powerhouse country

Anyways, I dont think he provides width' similar to Mata and to an extent Hazard/Oscar.... However, he will probably get another chance against Arsenal....

Also, he's not really better than Nani and I dont really know the teenager... The perfect team would be Liverpool since they desperately need legs in their midfield... (and a backup #10)....

KDB is really in an unfortunate situation, but he should of saw it coming with the signing of Hazard, Oscar, Schurrle and now Willian......

Also, it's not one player he has to surpass, its a few players.....It's going to be interesting to see what happens with him moving forward...(also, I agree that he needs gametime, but unfortunately, we have 6 ams and 1-2 would of been eventually phased out).

He was talking about being influential in a qualifying phase. Not caps or youth tournaments. Kevin was pivotal, much more than Hazard tbh.

No chance in hell will KDB start against the Arse. Why do you assume that. He is off the market for a while in Mou's book. Also, mata drifts inside much more, as does Hazard. Let's not discuss Oscar on the wing - it's not his place, really.

Also, he's not really better than Nani and I dont really know the teenager....

So he is worse than a teenager you don't really know.

Sorry mate, not being a fanboy, but that post just doesn't make sense.

1. No, he was saying how KDB is the most influential player on Chelsea via national team. (anyways, this is irrelevant )

2. Arsenal is a CC game....Last season, Man united and us started with our second team... I'm not really convinced Jose would put out our 1st team since the players that started last nite are probably going to start again this sunday and the arsenal game is 2 days later.....

3. I dont really know Adnan.... so, I'm not sure what you mean about making sense.... Also, Man United have Nani and valencia so.....

Assistent coach of NT states in today's Newpaper: "The more you talk about someone, the more Jose Mourinho will do the opposite. If we no longer speak from today on De Bruyne, he plays guaranteed in two weeks. That is Mourinho. And that's a shame. "

That sentence proves perspective is indeed everything in life.

Unlike the assistant coach cited above, Mourinho's job is to do what is best for Chelsea and not Belgium. He sees Kevin everyday in training, the same way he sees the other five he competes with. There's no agenda here like the Belgian implies, the only agenda is on his part as - if I'm not mistaken - we have won six out of our last seven matches and our attacking midfield is the least of our problems, in fact it's not a problem at all.

That is one of the most narrow minded, self-absorbed opinions I've ever read a profession coach say!

It's because he's not a professionnal coach, he has the title of assistant-coach but he's just a friend of Wilmots. He only coached some small teams in lower division in Belgium :clown:
