Look at Bayern and Germany.

Anyway I see the point, but it is always good to have players who can more easily relate to each other to form a closer group. So if we could have players from just 3-4 nations or so, I think that is optimal and something to aim for.

And getting Varane and Pogba is mostly dreamthinking, and if for some reason Jose and the club decide to go for these players they think it will be good for the collective as well.

However, getting Pogba would probably mean changing to 4-3-3 which would change a lot.

Because of this, I think Varane is more likely... Im a big fan of Varane so fingers crossed... :P

Been the best DM in the world since '08?

Busquets looks better than what he actually is tbh. He is built perfectly for Barcelonas style of play. He is very much focused on possession football.

To me a top quality DM is one who wins and breaks up play constantly all game then distributes the ball using intelligence. Busquets can only do the X tackle he had never been very good at at the O tackle.

This is why Matic for me is a far greater DM.

Who they're going to sell then ? If PSG will come with real offer then Chelsea can do nothing to match that. But they are resticted with FFP so they will let someone to leave. BTW in this transfer you have to include how much of "a bribe" you will give to Mino Raiola. We have a history with paying good money to agents and therefore clinching the player purchase though.

After the era of "Youtube players", Pogba begin the era of "Vine players".

Can be the best midfielder? Probably, because has a great conditions, but today he is only a good player. I see 10 games of this guy, and in 9, his overall game looks so poor, only 1 or 2 good skill and no more. He needs to improve so, so much principally in the game understanding.

For a reasonable price, will like me, but for 80 o 70 millions, haha, no, thanks.

Don't forget the world cup either where he was really average.

people need to calm down, he really still has a long way to go before he becomes a genuine world class player, he is still far off the levels of Michael Essien when we first sgned him, he certainly has the potential but people act like he is the end product already.

I don't watch Pogba so I don't know. I do know that The Bison had many great qualities but that he was, and is, technically limited. If Pogba isn't better than Essien then I'm not interested at any price, never mind the superstar numbers being chucked about.

Technically he's brilliant. He's got that smooth technique which usually is exclusive for 5'7" players. He's also slightly slower than Essien and less explosive I think.

I'm all for signing Pogba, because he's got brilliant world-class potential while being in younger age group than other midfielders we currently have like Ramires, Matic, Fabregas and Mikel. But is he really an option ? Fee might be an issue, wages might be an issue, insurance cost might be an issue ... a "bribe" we would have to pay to Mino Raiola might be an issue. There's hope that Abramovich, who supposedly is football freak, is also freak about Pogba like he was about Torres and Hazard. He said "I have to have this guys !" and he's got them, no matter operation cost. He wants to have "the best of the best" in every area of life they say. One last Abramovich gift to Chelsea ?

It's funny when I read those comments from Mino Raiola. A 3 weeks ago he talked about Pogba being one of a kind, a Mona Lisa, a player who simply has to leave Juve either this year or next. Now he's talking that "nah, Pogba ain't eager to leave". He's doing brilliant job on that matter I have to say. He got into people's heads and plays every melody he wants to eventually milk somebody badly. So, you can conclude that he would rip us off if there's no tomorrow.

Only if Roman wants that and we're ready to pay big on agent fees I guess.

He's so improved from last season, but he's still far from consistent and his decision making still needs work. He's well on his way to fulfilling his potential but he's not yet the player that everyone who just see the goals think he is.
