This thread is almost as dumb as the Messi one. We aren't signing Pogba. Maybe it's just I'm no longer naive anymore & I don't want to ruin anyone's fun but I genuinely cannot believe people devote their time to such a non-story. Forget logic for a second, no reputable sources have reported any concrete interest. Nothing from Italy, BBC or SKY yet we're going to sign Juve's best player this late in the window after they've sold Vidal, Pirlo & Tevez in the same summer? Okay then. This is the same club that can't even close the Stones deal.

Worst is people suggesting swap deals as if they ever actually happen outside video games.

Well tbf we were close on Rooney but Moyes blocked the transfer then. And Jose didnt want Mata to leave but United offered too good offer to turn down.

I think Pogba wont come here but no doubt we were very interested and made an offer of around 60m.

6 days only left. If we really want land him we must make an official bid right now. We must understand that Juventus needs a time too, to sign replacement and 6-5 days is a very short time. :ermm:

I agree, we did very close to sign Rooney back then. No matter what happened in background that actually made our attempt fall.

Regardless of how 'impossible' this transfer would be, i believe that we actually did make bid for Him and still on effort to seal the deal. However, Logically speaking, Yes i also doubt this transfer will comes to an agreement considering Juve's current squad situation where they've just lost their 3 pillars in the same transfer window.

Legit sources have said that we did make a bid and it was turned down.

Tbh, I don't think anyone is kidding themselves to think that we're going to get him this late in the window but at the same time we're all Chelsea fans speculating about potential players coming to the club. Nothing wrong in that.

Reus to Liverpool? Ummm no.

The meaning was that talking about Pogba joining us is like what Liverpool and Arsenal fans did during the summer with Reus and Benzema.

And this article (sorry it's only in italian) explain why the Arab guy won't get any birthday cake.

http://www.calciomercato.com/news/romano-pogba-il-piano-della-juventus-e-la-vera-offerta-del-chels-681717

calciomercato.com is the most popular website in Italy about football transfers; and the writer, Fabrizio Romano, works for SkyItalia/Guardian and a close co-worker of Di Marzio.

If the offer had been made before the sale of Vidal, probably Pogba could already have been a Chelsea player.

That's what the board have to think about and it should be more interesting to find out which are now the alternatives we're looking at than listen to some unrealistic Arab tweets.
