I thought he played okay in truth. Okay he lost Cavani for the goal but the whole defence fell asleep, hence why no-one turned around screaming and forming an inquest. The whole defence went to sleep, you can't pinpoint Cahill. Other than that he barely put a foot wrong.

I think, apart from that brilliant assist, he played bad,very bad,but I have to say that Terry was not any better.They both lost almost every header to Cavani and Ibrahimovic.Zouma is needed to defend against those two because he is tall and he has a jumping ability I have never seen before.Just give Zouma more chances in away games.

Thing is , Jose doesn't want to rush Zouma in these big games, but the irony is he has been playing against Ibra for 2 years. And despite not having the same pressure as he would have at Chelsea, he still has managed to get a header, unlike Cahill and Terry yesterday.

He made 3 MAJOR mistakes in one match. They scored from the first, Azpi accidentally cleared off the line for the second and Cavani luckily missed for the third.

Every single game he and Ivanovic play, 90% of the danger and opposition chances come down our right side. We CAN'T keep dismissing that as a coincidence.

Exactly, I don't hate Cahill. I just think him and Iva together are too risky.

And I would prefer to have Iva start just because of his big game impact, so its Cahill that has to sit or step up his game.

Jose actually refused to make the sub before the corner.

Hindsight is bitch.. but boy should have he done so...

If I've seen well, he wanted to put Cahill on, but we conceded so he changed the sub for Drogba, no?

He was going to come on for Costa though so I don't think it would have made any difference.

Argh :angry::angry::angry: Cahill is not a fucking defensive midfielder, I really really hope Mourinho is not considering playing in midfield, he already cost us against Spurs last time due to him being destroyed by Kane

I really don't think he'll be bad sitting just infront of the defense.

His issue is covering Ivanovic when he attacks, in that position he won't have to cover anyone, just be an added defensive barrier.
