If your friend betrays you but the end result doesn't give you the maximum damage, is he a better person then?

If your friend tries to hack your computer but your firewall is just too stong, does that make him less guilty?

I appreciate what he did for the club, but he was an employee then with a contract and massive wages.

But when he was released, he just showed his true colors by making up stories, lying to us and NY fans and joined our biggest rival and made things more difficult for us by scoring for them in many matches.

As a fan I feel betrayed, and having won the EPL does not change my feeling for what he did.

This opinion will never change, no matter what BS he post on Instagram/Twitter or interviews blaming us not giving him a proper goodbye.

Unless he admits he was wrong and apologize to the fans, this feeling won't change.

you can look at it this way

he was an employee of CFC. gave his blood, sweat, heart and soul to the club. when he was on a contract he did everything for us that a legend should, an ideal employee should do.

yes, on an emotional level, he did wrong by us. but, personally, i will choose to remember him for the 14 years of great service than a year of mistake.

You have hit the mark. It is easy to forget what he did because unfortunately for him, there were no consequences. He failed to help the City to win the title, but if anyone has any doubt that he wanted it more than anything and that if successful would have been the happiest in the world at the cost of our failure is that is fooling himself.

In the future, whenever someone is going to do a documentary about Frank, or do a bit about his career or record goals from midfield, they will likely show an image of his last match in the EPL and it will be him in a CIty shirt with the armband around his arm.

Let that sink in for a second...

No they wouldn't. They would likely show an image of him in a Chelsea shirt holding the PL or CL trophy.

Of course they would. If you're talking about a player's long career you're going to show his last game, if you're talking about his goal record you're going to show his last goal. Now, both will be with him captaining City.
