LDN Blue 7,903
In my opinion he id already our greatest ever player, the amount of times this man has saved us is unreal! The amount of big game goals he has scored, 2 goals v bolton, fa cup final v everton, CL final.... I could go on forever! And to have him top our goal charts would be a fitting tribute to a genius! The greatest goalscoring midfielder of his generation! Frank Lampard - LEGEND!!I agree.Despite not being the "Chelsea through-and-through" boy, I think he is our best player of all time. BlueLion. 21,491
If that inconsistent lad you guys call 'Sturridge' had have scored that goal instead of shanking it wide, it would have been the assist of 2011. Kieran.

BlueLion. 21,491
Wow Frank was cute as a kid Still does the exact same thing as a man now, running with his thumbs in the air haha The commentator saying that he is "a considerable talent." If only you knew!
manpe 10,861
I want Frank to become a sideline staff once he retires... it will be too sad to see the team without his familiar face at all I've heard he's doing his coaching badges, am I right? Bir_CFC 3,455
Frank really is an amazing role model. Just when he looked like he was done, he puts in extra work and adapts his game so quickly to AVB's style of play and has been our best mid for the past 2-3 games. Falling love with him all over again. BlueLion. and BLionheart

francozola 2,040
He's far more likely to go ahead in management/coaching than JT. Can't see JT being all that successful tbh even though he constantly says he wants to do it

termninja 5,290
Class finish today and a wonderful performance. He's slowly getting there. I hope he keeps this form on going because we are going to be needing Super Frank for this season!Torres should ask Lamps to give him a few finishing lessons also... robdog 2,084
I am not sure if this is the right place or not, but there was a pict from a few years back when Lamps scored a goal & gestured to opposing fans w/ the hush sign sorta like this one: can someone direct me to that pict or post it for me pretty please??? robdog 2,084
Another stat for you Supa Frank doubters, Supa Frank is the Highest Scoring Midfielder in the History of the EPL. Of course I am going by looking for midfielders at http://premiersoccerstats.com/epl.html#. Supa Frank now has 144. I don't see another midfielder ahead of him in the all time list. BlueLion. 21,491
Fabio Capello has confirmed that Frank Lampard will captain England against Spain on Saturday - but John Terry will return as skipper against Sweden. But the England manager insists Terry - who is subject of a police inquiry over claims he racially abused QPR's Anton Ferdinand - is innocent until proven guilty of those allegations."I decided everything [selection-wise] before what happened," said Capello."He will be on the bench against Spain but play against Sweden on Tuesday."Capello insists Chelsea defender Terry has his full support while the Football Association and police probe claims of alleged racist abuse against him.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15693231.stm
Popular Post! Tomo 21,751 Posted November 11, 2011 Popular Post! Share Posted November 11, 2011 No Rio and Terry = David Villa field day.Back to Lamps tho i swear i hope people write him off more often. He was supposedly finished under Scolari and responded strongly with another 20 goal season. He was supposedly finished in 2009 when he went on a 2 month baron run and he responds by ending the season with 27 goals. He was supposedly finished this September so what does he do? respond with 4 goals in 2 games and is now on 7 for the season, well on the way to another 20.His quote after the Bolton game is one of my fav "i can't pretend im a happy boy when im not playing because i want to earn my money, i will do everything to play for this club".Playing once a week instead of twice seems to have galvanised him, carefull management from AVB and i can honestly see him continuing to bang in the goals for a good few season's yet.To be honest i can't wait for the next time he is "washed up".Heard of less is more? francozola, BlueLion., Sheva. and 2 others
