Fulham Broadway 17,315
I suppose reason and logic determines that the blame, if any, lies at the club. But lets not rationality get in the way of petulant knee jerk emotion.........Grrrrrrrrrrr i'm burning the shirt, sending dog shit to frank lampard snr, and death threats to his family. Ive put my foot through the telly and sent the bill to Chelsea TV. GRRRRRRRRRRRR. What a fucking judas ! Spike and zolayes
Special Juan 28,141
TOPTB is turning TC into Fox news, what else do you wanna take out of context?, love how mad I'm making him, bitter cunt. Now I am all for one on one debate and logical reasoning but I won't have someone on here calling another member that, it's wrong and you know it.It's quite clear you want to rub people up the wrong way, this has become apparent with your comments here and your signature that was apparent only the other day.PM me if you have a problem with what I have said, I will quite happily iron out any of the creases you don't understand. iseah100 5,612
He capitalised off / and increased his stature in the market by positioning himself alongside JT as 'proper Chels®' and marketed himself as that to the fans. He's been found out as a fraud, this guy doesn't have the club (bigger than the board) in mind like Drogba & Ash, he has no affinity with Cheslea. We turned a blind eye when he sabotaged AVB, but this is the final straw.Ohhh, shut the fuck up. Please? The news broke a while ago now, there are no knee jerks going on here. My posts haven't been erratic, they've been well reasoned. When bad things happen in relation with a club, certain fans will delude themselfs into taking the 'happy road'. It stems from not having control, Arsenal fans have done the same to a lesser degree.Just cause you give reasons for your thinking in your posts, doesn't mean they are well reasoned posts. Sigh*. Popular Post! Magic Lamps 11,692 Posted August 4, 2014 Popular Post! Share Posted August 4, 2014 yep let's burn our Lampard kits and eradicate his memory and don't call him a legend anymore. Like the Scousers and arse-fans do. I thought we here at Chelsea had more class than that. We could say good bye to Mata with dignity, why do some here try to stain Lampard's name? His move has nothing to do with his achievements here. He is our greatest ever player and what he does after his time at Chelsea has come to an end has nothing to do with that. The titles he has won us, the goals he scored all the great memories will stay. The resentiments some fans might have won't. So don't embarrass yourselves and bear it with some dignity. It is not a great situation to be in. I have been a Lampard supporter for more than a decade and I hate it that he does not play for us anymore. But he has given us everything he could and for me this was enough. What else shall a player do for a club than giving his all week in week out, representing its values and keeping its reputation high? His move to City does not undo any of this and also does not damage the club or its reputation. He has been an ambassador of the club and will be when he rejoins the club in some function any time in the future. Also I don't buy this "what if he scores and wins city the title over us". If our title challenge broken by a 36-year old player in one match, it was never good enough. It seems some here have an agenda against Lamps and only have waited for an opportunity to creep out of their holes. I never knew a club legend going on a 6 month loan to a rival team in order to maintain top fitness and play the odd cup game is in the same bracket as a a club legend being transferred to a city rival and scoring the goal that inevitably got them relegated. zolayes, The only place to be and iseah100
Starman60 1,343
Have read some of the comments on here and I dont really see what all the fuss is about, and here's my reasons why1. We didn't offer Frank a new contract......Why?...........because he had nothing more to offer us as a player.2, City are champions with a pick of younger world class midfielders.....So can you see Frank holding down a regular first team spot for five months?3. City are short of home grown players (as stated by many on here)...so he makes up the numbers4. And his New York club is owned by City.Frank sadly, had nothing more to offer us at Chelsea. He was a fine player, but times change and he still wants to play at a high level. I dont blame him for taking up the offer from Citeh. I doubt if he will play against us and I feel he is just there for his fitness and to increase Citeh's home grown contingent. Let him go with our gratitude for what he has done for us in the past, because you can be sure he will never be able to recreate his best form ever again in the future, with Citeh or anyone else. Chelsea have had Franks best years, and if he had anything left to give he would most definitely have been kept by Jose. So good luck Frank and thanks for the memories iseah100, The only place to be and zolayes

Chelsea have had Franks best years, and if he had anything left to give he would most definitely have been kept by Jose. So good luck Frank and thanks for the memoriesI don't agree with any of your points and if you're interested, I'll say why. Mourinho has already said Frank was offered a deal like Ash but both rejected. I was in favour of Lampard moving abroad (I did state pessimism about NYC) because it wouldn't affect Chelsea's ambitions. It doesn't matter if he plays for them or not. The point for us who are not happy more than others is that he's playing for a direct title rival. It's as bad as Liverpool, Arsenal or United. If he wanted solely to train, Mourinho said Abramovic promised Lampard a job for life. He could've signed his 6 month loan with us. Lampard even said Uncle Harry wanted him at QPR but he didn't want to move because it was too close to Chelsea. Well, if he was just training that surely staying in London is a bigger incentive? As for your third and fourth point, Lampard shouldn't be willing to offer to help City in their quest for success. He should be thinking how to help Chelsea, if he really did reject QPR for the fans. Even if NYC and City have the same owners, he would've been told about this in negotiations and yet he STILL proceeded. Other MLS clubs wanted him, LA Galaxy the most prominent. So he wasn't short of options. Peace., Blue-in-me-Veins, The Mak and 9 others

I really believed Lampard, I was more convicted Terry would do something like this if I'm being honest. The only scare we've had with Terry was when him and his agent used certain tactics to get him a bumper contract. He was 28 years old then, he could have given 7 years to another club, 'arguably' enough to be a legend elsewhere. He's got too much invested in being Chelsea 'through and through' now, both on a personal and economic level to throw it all away.

Because Frank has always been the player to act with his head and despite all he has done for the club, he always seemed to be thinking of his own interest first and foremost which don't get me wrong he has every right to do. While JT has always been the most passionate player in the team who acts with his emotions and puts his body and his all on the line for the team. Through the affair, England captaincy, Moscow, Barcelona etc. You were spot on with the Vieira comment imo. He was meant to be an Arsenal man through and through. Captain of the invincibles and all those legendary tags, now he's leading their future talent in a management capacity. I hope Lampard shows a bit of loyalty in that aspect. but after this, it sends a message.
boshman 1,073
I don't understand how some people are ok with this???Frank said only 12 months ago he would never play for another top flight club. Out of pure loyalty to the club he shouldn't have even considered this move. For the fans who sang his name for 13 years, who worshipped the man. It is one giant kick in the bollocks to us all. 13 years he built a legacy at this club. One i thought could never be touched. He was our biggest ever legend. With one disgusting move. He has torn it all down. Yes, what he achieved here will never be forgotten of course it won't. But i will never look at him the same way again after the way he has made me feel the last few days.
