Popular Post! manpe 10,861 Posted January 9, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted January 9, 2015 Now I'm certain Lampard was part of the "player power" problem. It was not a myth. A selfish greedy cunt will always cause discontent in the team when their needs aren't satisfied to the fullest. I still remember the way he casually strolled around the pitch whenever AVB played him and we were desperately looking for inspiration from our leaders, he visibly didn't give a fuck despite being the (vice)captain. His only aim was to get rid of AVB so he could be replaced by someone who would hopefully play him more and thus have a higher chance of earning another big fat contract. Like the time he used Jose's Inter to blackmail the club. He showed his true face for a glimpse when he referred to AVB as "that other bloke" with a giant grin on his face.Last season Jose used Lampard sparingly and there is a possibility that Mou started seeing through his bullshit. He was probably offered a contract that the club knew he would refuse, thus "forcing" him to leave while saving face by being able to say that they did indeed offer him a contract. Lampard, being offended by that and bitterly seeking retribution, didn't consider it a serious offer and went on to claim that no offer was made to further try to stain Chelsea's image. If I had to choose who was lying, Jose or Frank, I'd say Frank all day long.Jose definitely saw through his bullshit, this explains his short but telling "love story over" comments. Jose has never been shy to praise his former players, never has he had such a change of mind so quickly, from saying "the model professional and greatest midfielder to having worked with" to "I don't talk about him, it's over". Not a single unneutral word about one of the standout players of his career, none.Frank, I started watching football and following Chelsea mostly because of you and Terry. Now, some 10 years past, I'm following Chelsea and there would be nothing more satisfying than BEATING you and fucking Manchester City, who you would have never even considered before the megabucks arrived. I hope you play against us later this season so Matic and Terry could hack you on your ass for the greater part of your miserable presence on the field. (Yes, I know he isn't reading this, I'm just fucking venting.) zolayes, iseah100, NiclasCFC and 15 others
BlueLion. 21,491
So City built a new football club to massage Frank's ego so it didn't make it look as if he was betraying his past loyalties? I thought Lampard was supposed to be an intelligent person, did he think no-one would find out? zolayes, MichaelDance and xPetrCechx
Tautvix 1,321
I really don't believe Jose didn't offer Lampard a new contract because how on the Earth did he bring back Drogba? There's no word called "traitor"... It's called Lampard. MichaelDance and CMS
SpecialistsInFailure 68
Don't jump the gun, Lampard said similar things.I think it's confirmed that Gerrard is indeed a more respectable and honest person than Lard CMS
Igi26 346
I want to make it completely clear about my situation as I have read a lot of lies and nonsense over the last few days. When released from Chelsea last year at the end of my contract I signed a commitment to play in NYCFC for two years starting January 1st 2015. I was then offered the chance to train and be part of the Man City squad in the interim to keep myself in the best shape going into New York. This period has since been extended by Man City and I now will start playing for NYCFC at the end of this current Premier League season. There has always been a constant dialogue between all parties in this time to find the best solution for everyone. I can say that I am very excited about arriving in New York and giving everything to the team to make us a success in the MLS as soon as possible. Thanks everyone for your ongoing support and I wish everyone a healthy and happy 2015! MichaelDance
bluephoenix 1,131
Really can't still digest the fact that Lampard is no longer part of Chelsea and is playing for our rivals ! A person of his stature should know better how it would affect the fans and people who have idolized him.

laeth 527
All seems a bit suspect this; should of gone to another country (like, ACTUALLY GONE). Scoring goals for title rivals (against Chelsea as well) is total bullshit TBH.

manpe 10,861
The Lampard camp had to say something because his image was under attack, but he was never going to admit to lying and scheming. Probably written by his PR manager.

Popular Post! CHOULO19 24,332 Posted January 9, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted January 9, 2015 I think this is a call from City. They've seen the repressions this is having for NYFC with fan backlash, I bet Pellgrini wants to keep FL for next season but City are making a PR decision. As for the news itself, well I'm simply not surprised. I have to stand back a minute and applaud the City franchise, they've found a loophole in rule book and have legally exploited it. Credit to whoever thought this up. That being said, what an ugly state of affairs this is turning out to be. Lampard knows what this means for his standing with Chelsea now & frankly (excuse the pun) I don't think he's too fussed at the moment. They haven't found a loophole at all, this is an illegal action no matter what stance you take on it. http://www.hudsonriverblue.com/2015/1/8/7514871/unraveling-frank-lampards-contract-situationGuys, it's not a loophole and it's not illegal. Let me break down how it happened and why you and others are confused:On December 31st, City and Frank removed the break clause in his one year contract with City thus allowing him to stay in Manchester till the end of the season. The already upset NYFC fans got even more upset when the BBC revealed that he never even had a contract with them and went looking for proof, only to find that he was never registered in the wage bill for NYFC to begin with. So, to try and save some face, the MSL and the NYFC claimed that he had signed for the MC franchise (the company that owns both teams) and that he was loaned by it to City. But the EPL does not allow third-party ownership and came investigating at City only to find out that Frank had signed with City, the club, from the beginning so there was no infringement of EPL rules. All City did was sign a (devious) free agent on a season long contract. The rest of the charade was simply a publicity stunt to sell some NYFC season tickets and Lampard shirts and for Frank to try to preserve his public image and marketability. What's baffling is that MLS didn't consider that third party is prohibited in England and ivestigation would follow on those claims thus exposing what they were trying to hide. Either stupid or there is more to it than is being told.

Either stupid or there is more to it than is being told. The one who maid claims of the third party ownership was not even from the NYFC board, but the director of the MLS or something like that who was 'defending' the reputation of his league in the media. Given that third party ownership is allowed in the US and various European countries, I'd think he likely didn't know it was not allowed in England. Probably just stupid, if you ask me.EDIT: They've backed themselves into a corner they were always going to end up in, imo. How they or Frank thought that the truth would not come out, is beyond me!Bullshit. He'd have announced it at the start of the season if that was the case. It's him trying to cover his back. Of course it's bullshit. If he was planing on just staying fit with City, he would have signed a contract with NYFC, not a "commitment" ( ). He also wouldn't have signed a year-long contract with City. The statement literally explains nothing. kc_blue
