Dan Petrescu, ex Chelsea and now the coach of Al Arabi, confirmed it at a Romanian TV station today.He said the deal is 99% done. Not 100% because there are also other Qatari clubs interested in him such as Al Sadd who offers him €10m per annum.But he is confident Xavi will join Al Arabi and said he even talked to Xavi on the phone before he left for Brazil.€6m will pay the Qatari side for him. Yes, but I don't see any problem with his form, he play in Belgium NT really well as a starter. About the price I think around 35-40 millions, not far from Fabregas price. I would love to see us pay more 5-10 millions, to get between c*** and not c*** player with the same qualityI think he needs a change of perspective. Going to Zenit was a terrible career move for Witsel. I'd love to see him at Chelsea becuase I think he's such a valuable box to box midfielder to have, but I think he's a bit redudant with Matic. Even so, I think he couldmake a difference in ball recovery and early transition for Chelsea. I do hope he gets away from Zenit soon.
