Saul considers better offers from other teams and Griezmann remains calm because Barcelona need him to leave. At the moment, Barcelona must amortise the remaining €72m from Griezmann's purchase. They prefer a swap to regain some of those millions so that they don't incur more losses (player + cash for Griezmann). And the salary difference is significant. Negotiations are continuing but Barcelona must find a solution. If Barcelona are to go fast, their boards will have to agree to make up for the Frenchman's shortfall in Atletico. Barca categorically reject the idea for now, saying it would be better to keep him then. But to extend Lionel Messi, it seems unreal.
