Staying up? Based on what? Howe has been there since November and they’ve only got 10 points from 10 games under him. Hardly great is it (although an improvement on Steve Bruce’s horrendous start)? Thats a third of the points. Plus if they don’t take more than say 6 or 7 points from the next 5 games they are probably just as good as done. They play Everton, Villa, West Ham, Brentford and Brighton next 5 fixtures. Plus theyve still got to play us, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City before the seasons done and realistically thats 15 points you’d expect us and the other 4 teams to get at their expense.

Why does everyone think throwing money at players left right and centre is going to hide from the fact they hired an absolutely average coach? With a poor transfer record in the PL? And considering they already have the joint or second worst PL squad barring Norwich’s which is mainly championship quality footballers, thats not good.

Also nearly beating United is hardly a barometer for anything these days. Still mortified we only drew with them when they had Carrick as interim manager.

I really hope you are right . Hate that club since their players literally beat our youngsters up in the carling cup in 2010. now even more

So far they have only signed trash but if they get genuine quality like guinaraes they stand a choice. Watford are in chaos and Burnley is well Burnley. I do think they have a realistic chance but will dance on their grave if they fail

probably the worst comment of the year on here (no offence, I usually agree with you)

Milano is a world class place to live, wonderful city, culture, fashion, food, design, architecture, extremely educated populace, crazy high quality of life, especially on a millions of quid a year budget

And then there's that ugly, eyesore of a lake a couple of hours up the road. 🙂

Adama Traore knows perfectly well that Barcelona want him, hence why a move to Spurs still hasn't materialized. Going to Spain is a real possibility, but it also depends on how the Dembele situation ends.

Morata to Barcelona isn't happening right now. Juventus is currently not in favor of letting the player leave. In addition, Atletico has set very complicated terms for Barcelona if they want this deal to happen.

Luis Diaz isn't in a hurry to leave Porto for a team like Tottenham and is waiting for a bigger clubs. Diaz knows that he's in Liverpool's summer transfer shortlist. Porto currently want Spurs to paid the release clause around €80m, but are willing to negotiate lower in the summer.

Bentancur: Aston Villa considers spending around €20m, but the negotiation appears very complicated.
Arthur: Juventus position doesn't change, they're only open to an 18-months loan.
Kulusevski: Juventus could loan him at the end of this transfer window.

Barring a last minute twists, Adama Traore will return to Barcelona. The club will loan him until the end of the season. Dembele's situation won't have anything to do with this signing.

That really came out of left field. Seemed cert to join Tottenham on a few occasions. So much for - "they can't afford anyone". 😄

Dortmund aren't in hurry to negotiate with Salzburg for the transfer of Karim Adeyemi, as Salzburg hasn't set any deadline. Adeyemi won't be Haaland's replacement and would even join if the latter stays. The transfer fee will be between €25m - €40m (including add-ons).
