Chelsea fans desperately don’t want Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

https://www.footballfancast.com/premier-league/chelsea/chelsea-fans-desperately-dont-want-sergej-milinkovic-savic

After watching Eden Hazard leave for pastures new, and then being hit by the effects of a transfer ban, Chelsea may not have been entirely looking forward to the current season.

But Frank Lampard’s summer arrival as manager has acted as a major turning point for the club, with there being a real feel-good factor in terms of the results and performances on the pitch. The Blues currently find themselves in the top four in the Premier League, and have seen an abundance of their academy talents rise to the occasion.

The likes of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have stolen the show with nine and four goals respectively, but it appears the west Londoners are also having an eye on next year too.

The Daily Mail claim Chelsea scouts watched Sergej Milinkovic-Savic during Lazio’s Europa League clash with Celtic on Thursday night. The report claims the Stamford Bridge side are considering making a move for the Serbia international at the end of the season.

After hearing the reports surrounding the 24-year-old, Chelsea fans flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts about their rumoured transfer target.

Many supporters of the west London side insisted they didn’t need the 6 foot 3 man at all, and urged the club to keep showing faith in players like Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Check out some of the reaction of Chelsea fans below:

LIVERPOOL EYE UP JANUARY MOVE FOR DARAMY – A SIMILAR PLAYER TO MANE

https://readliverpoolfc.com/2019/11/08/liverpool-eye-up-january-move-for-daramy-a-similar-player-to-mane/

Liverpool are eyeing up a January move for Mohamed Daramy, according to 90min.

The Reds will face competition from Celtic, however, with the Scottish Premiership giants also keen on acquiring his signature.

Daramy is a hugely exciting prospect, already breaking into FC Copenhagen’s first-team this season, despite being just 17 years of age.

The striker became the Danish club’s youngest goalscorer in history last year.

Daramy has been likened in style to Sadio Mane, meaning Liverpool could see him as a long-term understudy to the Senegalese superstar.

Values

Coutinho leads the table for most expensive players on loan

https://football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2019/wp273/en/

Issue number 273 of Weekly Post presents the top 50 transfer values for players currently on loan in big-5 league teams. At the head of the table is Philippe Coutinho. However, the price for the Brazilian as estimated by the CIES Football Observatory algorithm (€96.5M) is lower than the option to buy negotiated between Bayern and Barcelona (€120M) .

wp273.jpg

Four other players on loan have an estimated value greater than €50M: Dani Ceballos, Martin Ödegaard, Harry Wilson and Mauro Icardi. While there is in principle no option to buy for the three former players, Paris St-Germain can sign Mauro Icardi for €70M. This is currently a relatively high fee, but it could be no more the case if the Argentinean goes on playing and scoring as he managed to do in October.

With regard to Stefano Sensi and Duván Zapata, the levels of their options to buy are already significantly lower than the estimated values. Inter and Atalanta will probably not hesitate to exercise them. More information on the exclusive CIES Football Observatory approach to assess on a scientific basis the transfer value of professional footballers is available here.

Transfer Rumours: Leroy Sané, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland and Callum Hudson-Odoi

https://lastwordonfootball.com/2019/11/16/transfer-rumours-leroy-sane-jadon-sancho-erling-haaland-and-callum-hudson-odoi/

Last Word on Football’s Football Transfer News brings you the latest rumours from around world football. In today’s edition, fears increase over the potential departure of Leroy Sané from Manchester City. Will their rivals Manchester United be able to entice Jadon Sancho back to English soil? Perhaps they could bring another of football’s most sought-after prospects? Also, could Chelsea lose their own bright spark Callum Hudson-Odoi?

Transfer Rumours: Leroy Sané, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland and Callum Hudson-Odoi

Fears Mount Over Leroy Sané Move

As James Ducker of the Telegraph reports, there are still concerns in Manchester over the departure of Leroy Sané to Bayern Munich. There was huge interest from Bavaria in the German winger, PFA Young Player of the Year in 2018. However, an anterior cruciate ligament injury over the summer squashed any rumours of an exit, for now at least. Yet, City are still drawing up a list of replacements should the winger leave the Etihad next year.

United Look To Exploit Sancho Troubles

Jamie Jackson of The Guardian writes that Manchester United are pining for Jadon Sancho, and could move to exploit the winger’s unhappiness at Borussia Dortmund. The German club fined the young Englishman and dropped him last month for being late to training. This has caused a rift between he and manager Lucien Favre, which could ultimately lead to his departure. However, there remains interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid in the 19-year-old talent.

Haaland A Wanted Man

According to Rob Dawson for ESPN, Manchester United are set to enquire about the availability of striker Erling Haaland in January. The 19-year-old forward has become one of football’s hottest prospects this year after scoring 26 goals in just 18 games; this tally includes seven in four Champions League fixtures. The Red Devils face stiff competition from European giants Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Yet, they may be prepared to loan the Norwegian striker back to current club Red Bull Salzburg. This could be a deciding factor in his next move.

Hudson-Odoi on Real’s Radar

If Jorge Santos of El Desmarque is correct, Callum Hudson-Odoi is high on the wanted list of Real Madrid. The 19-year-old only signed a new five-year deal with Chelsea this year, so the London side are under no pressure to sell. However, the sway of playing for one of the world’s biggest clubs could be too much to turn down. A summer swoop could be on the cards, but it depends on which of their young targets Madrid decide to prioritize.

Player export: Brazilians and French at the top

https://football-observatory.com/IMG/sites/b5wp/2019/wp275/en/

Issue number 275 of the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post maps the origin of expatriate players in 31 European top divisions. With 466 representatives, Brazilians are the most numerous (10.3% of the total number of expatriates), followed by the French (350 players). However, the latter are the most present in the big-5 European leagues: 115 French players abroad compared to 104 Brazilians.

Footballers who grew up in France represent the largest contingent of expatriates in the Premier League (41 players, 15.7% of total playing time of expats), the Bundesliga (28, 8.0%) and the Liga (25, 13.6%). Brazilians are the most present in the Serie A (33 players, 7.3% of minutes played by all expatriates) and the Ligue 1 (25, 5.4%). Brazil is the most represented origin also in Portugal, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Finland. They are present in all of the countries covered except Scotland.

With 224 representatives in the 31 European top divisions and 67 expatriates in the five major championships, Spain is the third main exporting country. For a more global vision of player international mobility, the Atlas of Migration of the CIES Football Observatory presents additional data on the presence and distribution of expatriates in 147 leagues from 98 countries worldwide .

I would like to see Barcelona go for Martinez from Inter. He is a World class Player. He would be perfect for Barcelonas style of play and Perfect long term Suarez replacement. Also, I would replace Griezmann with Neymar in a Swap deal.
Griezmann on the wings is just not Barcelona Level and it is either Griezmann as a striker or sell for me.

What a joke

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/barcelona/story/4004641/lionel-messi-wins-sixth-ballon-dor-awardovertaking-cristiano-ronaldo

Dutchman Matthijs de Ligt, a key player in Ajax Amsterdam's thrilling run to the Champions League semifinals and now at Juventus, won the Kopa Trophy for the best under-21 male player in the world.

lol, Mbappe is 20 years old

SMDH

Also, de Ligt has been positively horrid for Juve lately. He is looking like a farmer league struggler trying to play with the big boys. I am sure he will turn it around but it is just madness to say he is the best U21 player in the world.
