Peace. 4,352
Now we will be raped with the players' price tag. The whole world knows we are desperatly in need to get new players.

Joker10 946
Well, André has said we would make only one purchase bar Cahill. It better be a brillant playmaker. Its probably Krasic, another average player at best.

Joker10 946
Ah sometimes I really miss the negative reputation feature :xmasdry:I am guessing this response is toward me.We are strongly linked with Krasic and even his agent has admitted interest from chelsea. So i don't think i am wrong thinking that Krasic is the most likely candidate Is he not average? He was only good for 2-3 months with Juve, played out of his mind for that short stint and the rest of his Juve career has mirrored performances of Kalou and Malouda. Not a lot of wingers are available in January for a reasonable price and AVB has shown that he is not someone who is going to overpay players. We are in a very specific situation, lots of youngsters waiting for a chance and players like Drogba, Lampard, Torres, Essien, Malouda, Kalou, Bosingwa all unceartain about their future. Hazard. Gotze. Modric. Neymar. Cavani. They are all amazing players, but unless you seriously overpay them they will hardly move in January.I'm 100% that you'll see a much different Chelsea next season and that the summer of 2012 will be the transfer period that will determine our future. We need a major signing to qualify for CL next year.
Hd123 5
We are very unlikely to attract those players without Champions League football, and fifth, sixth spot is where we are headed under the clown.

St Abramovich 175
I really feel that the team needs to replace the Mourinho spine, and not just replace, get rid of. They are legends but they have to go.Their lethargic attitude spreads to the new players in the team. Mata started like a freight train and has slowly fallen into the same frame of mind as the older players. We need to stop the spread. This post is going to piss a lot of people off but I feel the way I feel.

When he's tired, the team's creativity takes a dip.
Liquidator 5,176
We can still attract players if we don't make the Champions League.1. Players are aware that we are a top club and will not be fooled by not making the Champions League one season2. What attracted Robinho to Man City? What attracted Samuel Eto'o to Anzhi? High wages. As far as football goes, a large proportion of players don't give a damn over whether they are playing Champions League football as long as a fat pay cheque comes to them at the end of every week.
