zolayes 14,489
I didn't notice it during the game but the most blame for Spurs' goal lies with Mikel!Go and watch the goal again! He completely fails to close down Bale. He has the advantage, he could have closed Bale down to limit the space but he just stands there and hardly moves! Utterly ridiculous!Bosingwa and Ivanovic were at a disadvantage because they were running with their backs to Bale, but Mikel was the key man in that move. If he had done his job, Bale would not have had the same amount of time to run and put the ball in.The least he could have done was run back towards JT and Cech but he doesn't even do that! What a joke.watch again and their moves starts when Danny loses the ball but of course it has become fashionable to blame Mikel if Kalouisnt playing. It was a good tackle by Sandro. Yes Danny should have done better but i wouldn't blame him.You should pause the video when Bale is running from central mid to the left wing. Mikel just stands there. He has an opportunity to close the player down but doesn't do it
LDN Blue 7,903
Oh Ramires.. Someone should've clapped him round the back of his head for that miss! Atrocious
Kojo 4,676
Ramires has a habit of missing sitters. Anyone remember that open goal header he missed last season when united beat us 1-0 at the bridge?, Anelka crossed it and Ranires had a 1 on 1 header about 5 yards out and somehow managed to let it scrape past his forehead and go out for a goal kick.... ridiculus. matty18 15
I wouldn't put the blame entirely with mikel. But i honestly do not know what he was doing for the goal. He just stood there. Also we should have had a peno, when Assou Ekotto handballed it.

matty18 15
cole's hand ?adebayor's goal?so...I was just saying that it was a peno, thats all. Cole was ball to hand, due to the fact that it clipped van der vart and hit his hand, therefore he was unable to move his hand as it was like a meter away from him. Adebayor's goal was touch and go and a questionable handball. As well as the fact that he made 4 fouls after already having been booked. Although swings and roundabouts i guess. Tommy10 478
our manager andre villas boas & spurs manager harry redknapp make big mistakes..andre villas boas:i think the formation 4-4-2 is the right one, cause fernando torres & didier drogba together as central attacker would kill arround!!harry redknapp:scott parker & sandro play central midfield, but niko kranjcar & steven piennar who has better technique skills sitting on the bench!! However when i watched it following day on sky, looked a peno to me as well as Souness and Hoddle. Due to the fact that he tried to be fancy with the ball and fucked up, losing control of the ball, then just sticking his hand out. He had the ball under control and then it hit his hand, so it was a peno for me.

Laylabelle 9,535
The comments after from whoever was doing the yap about Cech were a bit random 'maybe he wears the helmet because he feels safe'..or maybe he wears it because of having a dodgy skull! Kostas 1,468
40 pages late but I can't believe I missed this gem:Not confident about this one, though we will be lucky to get a point. I don't understand why AVB has given time to build Chelsea, whereas other former Chelsea's managers didn't. This is far the worst start by Chelsea under the Roman's era, yet AVB, who constantly makes tactical errors, is still given shitloads of chances to stick around and make 'magic' happens. He is no Mourinho, importantly, he doesn't deserve to manage a big team like Chelsea. I'm ready for any dispute with whoever supports the donkey, he needs to pack up his bags and get the fuck out of here. We need someone who knows what he is doing, definitely not some newbie who thinks he's da shit cause he won the league once with Porto. Anyway, given the way we played, the defense we used for most of the game and how IMO refereeing decisions helped I guess I should be more than happy with a point. What we need to improve on is the ability of our midfielders to retain possession. Despite their workload, the way Tottenham outplayed us in the first 20 minutes was, frankly, embarrassing.
Hd123 5
We can't retain possession at all, I've never seen a team give the ball so much under pressure (apart from Romeu), which leads to ask what exact ball work they are doing in training.
