DAMN. that was so close. Though i would have taken the two touch down lead for sure, rather than risk it but it was pretty good.

Yeah...teams don't go for it often enough on 4th down (both my opinion and statistics show this). Even if you don't get it as was the case there, you pin the opposition deep which forces them to be conservative which pins them back which means you get field position on your next drive. (as happened here).

I think it's just a matter you don't want to look stupid. If sf score in that drive,everybody will say that john harbaugh is just idiot
