It's very different. NFL has discreet individual plays where the 7 different officials can get themselves into good position to see the play. Football is fluid and the referee is the only official on the actual field. He also has to run all the time which is harder than standing still to see things. Football is more similar to hockey or basketball. Officials in all sports make lots of errors (basketball is the worst).

true, We are ashamed. Refereeing is as shit as it gets these times. but IMO it a little easier to make a right call in the NFL. In football/soccer, all things go quickly AND are continuously u got less time to ask your assistance. Further there is no video evidence for crucial decisions and u cannot challenge the call. Thus u look much worse in football when u make a bad call when it cant be rectified. In NFL u got pauses all the time, so the refs are not caught "out of position" all the time. Plus, foul/penalty, offside and ball over the line, red card are more difficult to call then whether a ball has been caught in the end zone or where a player has been caught.

Still it is a shame how bad decisions can influence a football match. If we had fair decisions all the time this season, RDM would still be in charge we would have won at least one trophy and probably would be top of the league. If u take it all together I think the refs are the biggest factor in our team's lack of success this season, I cannot remember one crucial game which has not seen at least one epic blunder from a ref that gave us disadvantage whilst i cannot recall having benefitted from one at all. even though we should still blame ourselves for defeat first.

Lol true basketball is the worst. I play basketball so i know how difficult to make foul call, it is extremely subjective
