Alright, i can agree with that.

But still, Lukaku would have played only against Genk, and they are realy weaker than almost any team in the PL.

Its not a big deal...

Mate your acting like he has never played against decent Europe opposition, this guy scored 2 quality headers against Ajax and he has also scored against one of the Portuguese teams. He has experience in Europe and he has scored 2 goals against Russia, he completely bullied the Russian defence in that game i watched it. He gives us a threat in the air and he is also fast and he can hold the ball up, i know he is only 18 but he has already played in big games and he has done well. His qualities could of helped us a lot, he is young and hungry and he is experienced for an 18 year old.

No I said it would motivate Lukaku, not Bertrand. I understand that you want him in CL squad but for him it is better to earn his place, instead of getting it on the silver plate.

Bertrand will not be motivated, but as I said it is due to the lack of experience. That is our own fault, and I am not OK with it. I hope he will get some experience as soon as possible.

Would you like to risk defence with our attack at this period? Every goal can be important given our form.

I never said I agree with AVB decisions, I just think I can't criticize him.

Ah okay. My bad, I thought you were talking about both Lukaku and Bertrand.

Though I am disagree on the fact he has to win his place. He is our second LB choice and every few games he has played, he was pretty good. Plus, now we have only one left back and three RB. Who will play at LB if Cole picks up an injury ? Our 32 years-old third choice at RB ?

AVB drops Lukaku and Betrand for Kalou and Ferreira. Why I'm I not surprised?

I saw this coming a mile away

Sounds a bit similar like Carlo.

All that talk for youth, and we got paid to watch our youth only come for 10 minutes in a couple of games....

Don't get this at all, maybe Lukaku is scared of flying or something. Kalou.... i'm beginning to seriously hate that word, let alone the name. I simply don't wanna see him ever play for us again but maybe Genk at home can make him feel special instead of special needs. Talentless cunt.

Can't understand why Bertrand isn't a 'club trained' player. We've owned his registration for over 3 years between the age of 15 and 21 haven't we?

Ferreira, who was omitted from the squad at the same stage two seasons ago for similar reasons, had to be included this time around with Chelsea denied any other cover at left-back for the first‑choice, Ashley Cole. Ryan Bertrand, the England Under-21 international, has also missed out as, of the allocation of eight homegrown players, only four can be "association trained" as opposed to "club trained".

Bertrand, signed from Gillingham in 2005 as a 15-year-old, has spent periods on loan at Bournemouth, Oldham, Norwich, Reading and Nottingham Forest and, with his Chelsea career so interrupted, therefore does not qualify as "club trained" – John Terry is the only player in the squad that falls into that category – with Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Ross Turnbull and Daniel Sturridge making up the "association trained" group.

Fucking hell, given the reaction on here you think we sold McEachran to Q.P.R for 2 grand.

Your all calling for them to be included but say we have qualification at risk against Valencia in the last game have a injury crisis and play Lukaku and Bertrand, Lukaku misses a couple of good chances and Ryan makes a mistake for a goal and we go out, the same Chelsea fans will go "why did AVB throw them into that game, it was too soon bla bla bla" maybe AVB has thought ahead to that scnareo.

Same with Bruma i wasn't a member here at the time but i can remember other Chelsea fans calling for him to be played, he got played against Newcastle didn't have the best of game and got bashed, he played against Villa and got made the scapegoat. Its ridicolous.
