The Midfield looks Surprisingly Quick. There is finally no labored horizontal passes with players stationary in their position. There is alot of movement and thats refreshing to see.

Mata is the difference. Best man on the pitch. Anelka has been decent. Sturridge has been a bit out of the game. He may take some time to get used to the speed having not played since the Ranger's game which was more than a month back.

Defense looks solid.

My only concern is that we still dont have a goal scored by a central striker since the Man Utd Champions League game at OT. Which is a cause for concern. But with what I say in the first half that should change soon.

Even Lampard looking decent and trying to get the 1-2 passing going.
