Spurs fuked us over Modric, Utd fuked us over Rooney and here we are selling one of the best players we ever had to utd. still can't see how the board allow this to happen. so when City come in for Hazard next year, there is a chance we sell him? that's worrying.

And I would have really appreciated it if you didn't quote what I said to remind me of what I quoted and complained earlier...

Not really, because you complained about something you did yourself!

If Hazard became a reserve player like Mata, then sure.. why not. We're not a selling club, but it's only rational to sell your reserve player for £37m.

@TweetChelseaFC: Mourinho - "We are not happy Mata has left the club, we are just glad Mata is happy with his move"

@TweetChelseaFC: Mourinho - "We wish Mata good, not very good because it will affect us"

Mata wasn't playing... we've let a squad player go for nearly £40m. £55m for Mata and de Bruyne is fine by me. Selling Mata this time last year woulda been a disaster. Selling him now was a perfect time to sell him at the best price. He's not even been playing well tbh.

anyone else feel like matal is a total pretender the way he makes it sound like he was forced out of the team? first time ever dude had to fight for his place and he left us as soon as he could.

he really didnt want to fight for his place so he really didnt like the club i guess

one thing I learned from this saga is that people in here don't hate MUFC as much as I do... its a bit confusing, some chelsea fans don't find it odd that he was sold for the Manchester fucking united

All right, I've had time to smoke a joint last night, be mindful of my thoughts including about Mata, and I've come to the conclusion that I'll throw away my frustration, anger, resentment at him or Mourinho, neither deserve it, because in the end they both love this club and only wish the best for it. I hate having negative thoughts/energy (except in sports, as loving to hate your club's rivals is acceptable) and I always throw that filth away when it's intruding my mind and soul. I wish him well and hope that he gets in the WC squad somehow. I do believe now that the reason I was mad before the move was official, was simply this: I hate Manchester United Football Club. I hate the majority of their fans, I love hating them, whenever I see or hear arrogant comments from them, I don't wanna punch them or do anything physical against them, I just wanna watch their team play and FAIL, I love visualizing their feelings when their smug arrogance hits them right in the heart. This hatred isn't gonna change with Mata on their team, I don't want him to be injured or anything, but my hatred for that disgusting club and its fans will always come first. I wanna thank him for the memories, including Spuds away in '12 the goal at Old Toilet last May. I remember vividly how I jumped out of my bed and screamed Yaaaaaay. I wanna apologize to the people that I've insulted over here because of this transfer. Now is the time to look forward to our current squad and the happiness of the club that's surely lurking around. :)

Jose Mourinho admits he wishes he could have made Juan Mata feel more welcome at Stamford Bridge, following the Spaniard's defection to Man United this week for £37.1m.

The Blues began life post-Mata with a dominant performance against Stoke City in the FA Cup, even if they had to settle for a 1-0 win from Oscar's first-half free-kick.

The Chelsea boss has no regrets about the club's decision to sell, but he was still rueful in his post-match conference.

“The player was not happy with this situation and I feel sorry that I didn't make him happy, but football is football,” said Mourinho, who enjoyed a win on his 51 birthday.

“I build a team around Oscar in that position and Juan is not comfortable on the sides. He tried very hard and he did quite well playing from the right side, but it's not his natural habitat.

“Maybe it was something new for him not to be a first choice, to feel a difficult moment. Maybe that made him as a man, as a player, stronger, but I gave him nothing to be honest and I feel sorry for that.

“But I went in one direction and tried to make him play in a position where he was not comfortable. He gave everything and he played some good matches in that position, but it's not his favourite position and we are speaking about a world and European champion.

“I feel sorry for that and because of that I feel we couldn't stop him going to Man United."
