Glad that they are taking care of the situation. Most of us have been saying the same think after 3/4 of the last season, that he just showed signs of fatigue. Unbelieveable how he pulled through and went on playing over the whole summer. Of course, he hasn´t featured much in the Euros, but just being involved in the NT is always going to be a lot of training, etc. He has to get his mind off it for a bit to recreate his creative spark and keep his sense. If he´d be always tired he´d become more injury prone and getting distracted by his body and probably won´t be that sharp. But as I said, glad that Robbie, Juan and the Spanish FA trying to sort some time out for him.

I don't care what you bustas think....IMHO Mata is the 2nd coming of Zola...Ok, he needs to improve on his long range shooting & free kicks. Also pk's. If I am not mistaken, he missed his last two.

He has taken 4 penalties for us including the one in Munich but only scored 1, which was against QPR in the FA Cup. Missed twice against Birmingham and the other was obviously in Munich.

Thought he did alright. The combination of him with Hazard and Oscar was good to watch. Can only improve with time. However, thanks to our self implosion in that first half, we had to play him far longer than perhaps originally planned!

He had a good match except a 10 minute patch where he lost quite a few balls.

I like his partnership with Hazard in midfield in spanish fashion :yay:

Same here. I love how the two of them are already looking like they've been playing with one another for quite some time.
