The 25-year-old says he is still enjoying life in the Premier League and is looking forward to forging a relationship with new Blues boss Jose Mourinho."I don't know where that came from," Mata said when questioned about rumours linking him with a return to Spain."The last time I spoke with the club they told me I was a very important player to them and transmitted confidence in me."I'm sure Mourinho will want to see everyone first and then decide what he wants to do."You have to know people first before you can evaluate them. After the holidays and after I've rested I'll meet the new boss and I'm sure things will go well."Mata joined the Blues in 2011 after four successful seasons with Valencia but he began his career with the Real Madrid academy and was coy on a potential return to the Bernabeu. He said: "I only have good words for Real Madrid. I was there for four years and they brought me up, both as a player and a person."I have many friends there and I'm very grateful to the club. But I've spent two great years in London and the only thing I'm thinking about now is continuing to enjoy this league and this city that I love." iceboy

Mceachran 109
Sorry if it was already posted, but Villa is a cunt...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBAZLQFcTBwCan you explain what Villa seemed mad about? (I didn't see the whole play)EDIT: I just got to see a bit more... I would imagine he should be mad at Torres if anyone for not simply playing it over to the left instead of lifting the ball cheekily over the keeper. Zinedine Iniesco 172
No Villa was uncomfortable throughout the whole match because things were not going his way, nothing really is, or has been for 2 years now.Not really a cunt for doing this lol, it happens. Its field emotions and they stay there.

He's played an insane amount of games this season. I am very happy to see him getting some rest.

I didn't think about that. On the other hand: this is the confederations cup - he has more important things to do next year. Why would he risk a burn out when the WC is next year. It is a double edged sword, i believe.

Zinedine Iniesco 172
I believe you guys are exaggerating atleast a tad bit when it comes to Juan Mata's fitness. Also Del Bosque has a taste for hierarchy, and experience. This is one of the reasons Alonso,Arbeloa,Casillas,Silva, all Play, even Torres back in the Euro 2012.He has a taste for trust, experience, etc.Out of all his choices i believe his least excusable one is Arbeloa. But he does believe that he needs Arbeloa's experience and Defensive abilities and he hasnt really failed him with Spain.Alonso, and Arbeloa are actually important pieces to Del Bosque's spain due to the defensive stability they produce.Del Bosque likes a bit of Catennacio with the ball, as some call it. Stingray 9,441
Its not just fitness. There is also the mental aspect to it of never really being 'out' of it. I think you underestimate that very, very much. Hence my word burn out. To perform there has to be a period 'out'.
