Less than a month of not being a first choice and the hints of him leaving begin, lol.

Lukaku is great whether or not Tuchel can use what he does well. His numbers don’t lie and his distribution and finishing skills are evident. Some players don’t fit some systems. No need to disparage either the system or the player when that happens. It’s not like he’s alone as a Chelsea player whose market value exceeds the value Chelsea is getting from him.

Good points. Noticed as well even if hes not doing the business opposing defenders panic, stick with him and free up our players

Broja has outscored Lukaku whilst playing nearly 250 minutes less.

As much as I like Broja and would swap them in a heartbeat next summer, people use to make that argument to favour Rom over Eto'o back in 2013 when the former was playing for Everton.

Different ball game at Chelsea.

Eto costed next to nothing while Lukaku costed 100 millions though.

Again, not the point, not even close.

Eto’o was experienced, played for big clubs, worked with top managers and had led the line where as Lukaku wasn’t ready back then to do that for us.

Same with Broja not being ready as of yet. He might not even be ready next year either for all we know.

Almost no one complained about Lukaku going on Loan because the alternative was a short term player who we didn't pay much for and who might've help us through that season, with Broja you have a player who has little chance at making it here because Lukaku will be here mid to long term as his price tag will always dictate no matter if he will be dropped here and there, he will always be put back just like Torres was tried again and again even though it became clear he was a lost cause.

That's the whole point, people did and many argued we should have kept Rom over signing him.

The main point I was making was the context that smashing in goals for a team further down doesn't nesseserily translate to doing the same once you play in better sides.
