We know he is going to score a lot of goals though. 

But must of us didn't want him because his link up play and what he offers when not with the ball is very poor. 

I don't know if it's tomo that made this point but at Bayern they had a goal machine in a striker I forgot his name but he didn't offer much after that.

That it was when they shift him of and made way to the strikers they used now was when Bayern when up a level. Their new striker could scored, link up and as well be useful when not with the ball.

This is what morata will be for us. Thus much better in the balance of the team.

Yeah he was a goal score machine a la Lukaku. 

But didn't offer much after that. 

As he left, Bayern became much better team all around. 

And this is the modern style of play currently in force. The all around striker.

To be fair Gomez offered much more than Lukaku in terms of all-round game, but yeah you can probably compare both situations. 

Pure poacher's are also less present nowadays, the only two I can think of as much as big clubs are concerned are Lukaku and Kane, pretty much everyone else has a striker that offers much more.

To early to judge what sort of impact he'll have there...give it till mid season then know if a good buy for them or not.

Expect him to do well there though. Different class of players to what Everton had as well

I don't think it's low football IQ, just low football talent. Well lower than required to reach the real top level for strikers anyway.

It's actually difficult to separate the two. He also lacks movement, which is something needed to link up play.

Anyway, all my interest in lukaku went down the drain as soon as he joined the evil empire.
