Even based on abilities alone, playing in the Belgian league is hardly uprooting trees. He's big, strong, fast and that's about it. Limited technical qualities.

But we're going to agree to disagree, so :tophat:. Time will tell if this is a good or bad move.

On a final note on the first point though; I don't think it matters what league/country a player's from. If scouts think the player is good enough, then I trust them, not just ours, Real's, Arsenal's, Tottenham's ect. Kompany came from Belgian leagues and now he's one of the most promising defenders around :eyebrows:

True, but (and this is my final note :lol:) I'd wait till he shows his qualities in the best league in the world before getting excited about him.
