wwwooohhh dude!!! he was wba's best player by a mile. i mean we keep crying over torres not getting any service from the mid but this match showed what not getting any service actually is. brunt was horrendous, fortune was awful, morrison had an off day, in the 1st half wba could not string 5 passes together. compare it to lukaku who won a lot of aerial challenges, was good at holding the ball, and add to that the second half display (in which he shoud have scored his 2nd goal in a 1 on 1 but screwed it up because of his right leg and 2 really good headers with nice movement and running in the channels) u get a fairly good performace (probably not MOTM because that should have been berba in my opinion). even when wba moved him to the left wing he was a serious danger and put in some really good crosses.

Of course Lukaku was the best play today. Some of these guys are watching highlights only, I assume.

The minutes he gets at WB Chelsea can offer him the same, easily.

Chelsea is playing plenty of games soon. FA, EL, PL, Carling. If Rafa sits that dimwit Ferda to rest, Lukaku can play more minutes at Chelsea, easily.

Berbatov got the overall man of the match primarily because Fulham won the game. I am sure if West Brom won the game, Lukaku would have been MOTM

Lukaku was given the Sponsor's MOTM, which will always go to a WBA player when they're at home. Well deserved though, the rest of the WBA team were awful first half, Lukaku was the only one looking to make something happen.

As much as i'd rather have him back and playing backup to Torres from January, he wants to establish himself in the league, and in order to do so, must work his way up to being 1st choice striker at WBA. It's an easier route there than it would be at Chelsea.

That's the thing though, I'm almost certain Rafa wouldn't play Lukaku.

Considering that, I think it would be best if he stayed at West Brom. He's getting a lot of playing time, playing well and scoring. And if he keeps scoring, he's going to get hungrier and hungrier to improve, which would be great for us when he finally does return.

Take a look at how many minutes Sturridge got. West Brom play with two strikers and like to rotate them about, it's not the same with us.

Look at how often Sturridge picked up niggling injuries. Rafa has specifically spoken about resting Torres, IF he was to come back he'd get a lot of minutes with the competitions we're in. Don't want him to come back yet though

Rafa has apparently told Torres to expect more time on the bench in the second half of the season as he looks to sign another striker or two. So yeah, he will end up benching the useless cunt hopefully and Lukaku coming back wouldn't be too bad an option either.
