This year is unfortunately a lost year, both for Lukaku as for us. We need to make money free to sign extra players and get rid of some others. 

This is were he can come in handy. A team with Lukaku is much more attractive for new players then one without. If I were the manager I would ask for 5 new players for next year and build a new team around Lukaku whom I make captain. He is a little less performing due to a lack of confidence

😮  You cannot be serious?? He scored like 3 times this season. He is almost next to useless in front. Lukaku is fysical much stronger, is a leader. With him you can play 4-5-1 in stead of the 4-3-3 which allows to put more power in the midfield. We are losing games in our midfield ( and the lack of a good target player ). Lukaku can play in front on his own. He stays in front and the midfielders just have to give him the ball. We know he is not the fastest player in our team but certainly the strongest and with him at the ball, goals will follow.
