Obviously he would be influenced by Raiola as the media reports are suggesting that Chelsea didn't want to pay the full agent fee. 

Anyway, I still can't believe Mourinho 'wants' Lukaku.  From what i've seen of him at Everton, he seems like a square peg in a round hole for Mourinho's tactics.

Everton gets Rooney, Raiola wants United, maybe the salary is higher, it's not that he will suffer at Man U. Obviously they are more of an ambitious club than us who has a self destroying mechanism after winning the league.

This kinda hurts reading. But it's Chelsea's own fault. Really wanted to see him return as he's always been positive about us and that video of a younger Rom talking about dreaming on Stamford Bridge and emulating Drogba. 

On top of that Mourinho who send him to Everton. Mourinho doesn't have an eye for talent and young players. And now he wants Lukaku. What a farce. 

 

Please Chelsea...get Antonio Belotti or even Morata. He doesn't deserve this.

Third time FIFA 17 has predicted a transfer for me. 

Mourinho probably just wants Lukaku to spite Chelsea and offload Rooney at the same time. 

Two birds, one stone.  He's been known to hold grudges against players/clubs in the past.

Sorry for the double posts folks. My phone is flipping. Just like Conte (and Emenalo) might be doing at the moment. 

 

I seriously doubt Lukaku would be a good fit for Mourinho. 

Now offer Torino 75 million instead and some nice bonuses and buy ourselves a "full" number 9.

The most frustrating bit from this Lukaku saga is the club's inadequacy to get the job done. Not everyone was pining for him but clearly the club wanted him and you would think they would do everything to sign him long before today. Instead, they allowed United to come in and got everything agreed within a couple of days. Makes you wonder what will happen in the transfer window and afraid that 2010 and 2015 will happen again.

If what I heard about the number is right It is 100m in total for Lukaku (75 + add on + rooney) . I am not sure we can compete with that money 

 

Forget to add. It is the same as Jhon stone, he went to city the next year for 50 m. We simply cannot afford that money.

Can afford and don't want to pay that money are two very different things. We clearly have the money but it's like we have Wenger conducting our transfer business.

This honestly doesn't feel gutting at all for me. Nothing like the feeling when KDB went to Man City.

Just have to trust that in its embarrassment our club will go out and get our own striker.
