RoyalBlues 4,050
You're way off. Keepers just don't cost that much. Lloris was a young and proven keeper and cost 10M Euros in 2012. If he were a striker of similar age//ability/experience, he would have cost at least triple that. Mignolet is a solid keeper cost 9M pounds last year. Keepers are just not expensive. (And Luiz is not worth 50M PSG just has their own economy where they spent about 75% more than anyone else would, Look at their transfer history. They are reckless idiots. Even worse than we were at the beginning of the Roman Era. Goalkeepers are never that expensive. But Courtois is one of a kind and still young, and most importantly he is not for sale. Anyone who want to buy him must pay over the value. From transfermarkt, his value around 25 millions. Add his status value as not for sale, it could reach around 35-40 millions. My context is that, this is Atletico we're talking. I just think they 'owe' us a lot, and we don't 'owe' anything to them. Remind you all of this. We have loan them Courtois for 3 years, and they only have to pay for his wage. They have won several titles since then and Courtois is take a huge part in it. Also, Atletico have broke the agreement to had to pay if they want Courtois played against us. Add that value, if they want to buy Courtois. They're not gentleman in that case, hell, they want to buy Courtois in a 'reasonable' price? dream on. Only to Atletico, I think we should ask an 'insane' money if they want Courtois on permanent. RoyalBlues 4,050
Along with the koke+costa+luis comment, i havent laughed this hard in a while. The sheer absurdity of the post deserves wtf moment of 2014 for sure.I hope for the sake of sanity, you were just trolling because that was batshit insane.Yup, just trolling there with that swap players deal. I also throw in the forbidden word "Torres", there along the line, so you should know that I'm not serious. I'm inspired by Luiz - Sanchez and Song swap deal.My point is that Atletico could not afford the money we will ask for Courtois. As for the Courtois value, I have an argument in above post. The context is that, this is Atletico we're talking.

Blue Armour 4,439
Unfortunately, we live in an era where young players are like gold, the flavor of the moment. There is a tendency for people to overstate and understate (to put it kindly) the things they do, good and bad.Same case with managers too.. Hamilton 2,120
We should clear this issue before the wc if possible every day he's getting asked about his future while he doesn't know yet himself.. xPetrCechx

Namika 922
Courtois is coming back, he will begin to train with the team after the WC. Mourinho called him before the Barcelona decider. The semi-final changed everything.La question qu’il faut poser, Thibaut. Quid de votre avenir ?"Mon avenir semblait clair. Mais alors, on s’est affronté en Ligue des Champions et cela a tout changé. Oui, Mouringho m’a appelé.

Safir Zawad 54
I think Courtois is one of the best keepers in the world at present, and he is only 21. Chelsea should not sell Courtois. He should be groomed as Cech's successor. Chelsea should not let this one slip from their hands. Courtois should be kept at all costs! And btw I think Courtois is worth a lot of money, maybe if Chelsea sell him they can sell him at a record price for a keeper!
