Where, in the world, in any top team, really exists true competition for GK place? What kind of bull is this? Only real competition I remember was Čech-Courtois for one year and Čech-Cudicini for some years when Carlo was at the top and Čech maybe still wasn't. Casillas - Lopez for one year too. All of that cases resulted of one GK backing off, except Cudicini who accepted being back-up.

Courtois really is the stupidest footballer alive.

Does Karius vs. Mignolet count?  Or Čech vs. Leno? Caballero vs. Bravo... It happens but it's rare and doesn't last long. Top GKs who know they can start for some other top teams will not warm the bench for long.

Speaking about Cuntois, he was the one throwing fits when not playing, demanding to sack our GK coach and all. He was 100% going to leave if he wasn't gonna take over Cech shortly. He wants "competition" only when he is the automatic winner.

Was alwags gonna have it tough at Real.

Ex Atletico player, replaced a thorough fan favourite who had excellent games in CL runs (Navas) and when his signing was discussed last season apparently caused a Zidane-Perez fallout because he didn't want to replace an area of the field he already thought was pretty strong (even pulled plug on Real going after Kepa before he renewed his contract with Bilbao).

do they really need Hazard? thats the big question, seems more like a luxury signing than anything else tbh, is he going to produce Ronaldo's numbers, no chance, at Real he will just another player, unlike here where he is the big fish. The player they should be really going after is Mbappe or Neymar, they are the ones who come close to what they need in terms of goals.
