Chelsea won a corner just before the interval when a Malouda shot was deflected just wide and although Drogba rose well to Kakuta's deadball delivery, he powered a header just over.
The Blues were causing Wycombe problems down their left, with Malouda worming past the full-back on one occasion, and then Jose Bosingwa hitting the inside of the far post when he drilled the ball hard into the box towards Drogba.

Encouraging.

Are vids available?

Its great news, Im really hoping that Kakuta and McEachran feature more prominently this season, both could definitely play a role. Delighted that Torres scored, you might say it was only Wycombe in a friendly but the way Torres played for us last season we could have been playing Wycombe every week and he still would have struggled, its a great start for him under Villas Boas and maybe a full pre season is exactly what he has needed to fire him back into life because he is a special player.

Seeing that PvA got to go a whole half, does this mean PvA >>> Bertrand??? Hmm, another loan or a chance to cash in on the lad. I feel Bertrand has potential, but PvA might have a bit more. Any thoughts??

I personally prefers PvA to Bertrand, dont know why i just like him more whistling.gif
