Was his best chance considering the next two fixtures.He'll get some minutes, but will that be enough for someone also trying to force themselves into a world class national side?He might be looking to go sooner rather than later IMO. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of seeing Oscar start over and over again and then get subbed out over and over again because he isn't dynamic for 90 minutes. Managers watch him trains weeks in weeks out if they think he is not good enough to play then he really isn't. I hope it's purely because of his injury not his ability though. Each to their own I guess.I didn't say he's better than Hazard but on pre-season he outshone him in most matches and we had a reason to expect a lot from both of them. A shame about the injuries that ruined the start of the season for him but it's been more than a month since he first started appearing on the bench and so far he hasn't played a single minute yet even though our other alternatives haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders during that time. Directness is something we really lack when Mata,Oscar and Hazard are on the pitch at the same time. Muzchap 8,966 Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Yup - I think he will be the creative spark we are lacking at the minute - I don't like him on the RIGHT - prefer him on the LEFT - so he can cut inside and shoot - he'll likely score some goals over the next few matches...Just wish we had a second/third striker - somebody that wants the ball, can make the runs and allow players to find him.I agree that Torres is trying, but he's shit - and the midfield consider him a 'wasted' ball - so we play out of 'sequence' - which means we are easy to defend against.Since Torres has been playing - goals from Open Play have suffered massively...
