diskoviolente 425
No. Worst descision in years by the board if they sacked him now.
Fernando 6,585
I really dislike Roman empire but im honest enough to say i think he really loves Chelsea. But you should not let money rule your way of thinking football, Roman can do that. Hedoesnt think twice about sacking people, but the problem is for him he really looks likea complete idiot if he sacks Boas + the Torres deal. So can he accept losing face orsay goodbye to Cl football?. But money has never been the issue for him.And you have a point.Roman is a big baby with a big ego.It will be hard to see him say I'm sorry or I was wrong.Including when we knew he was dead wrong about firing Mourinho. Yet he won't admit it publicly. It is why I think more likely he will keep him even if we fail to get into CL. Cause there is always next year......Why do you think we bought so many young players?Get rid of the dead wood this summer and then let the players like Lukaku, KDB play for it. Good point about young players - future,, but i would really be suprised if he accept us not qualify for CL?Lets see what happen if we failure (god forbid) in CL and FA?. By the way were are not handling thegetting rid of dead wood very good, should have done that in the summer, right Boas?.

Mourinho did it because Chelsea where not establish. When he went to Inter and now Madrid he did not do that. With an establish team you have to give the players you have a try and see what they got.It is why AVB is now talking about next season project. Expect some dead wood to leave and new players in, or more youth if we don't get 4th place and can't attract top players that season....But even then I don't think this will give too much weight with top prospect like Hazard, Lucas and such because they will know they will play CL next season, and will get good wages. Laylabelle 9,534
There is no point sacking AVB if we're just gana carry on into next season with the same squad..main issue needs to be sorted first and thats get rid of the players who clearly dont give a crap! Otherwise we're just gana have the same problem no matter whose in charge...to be honest the main problem is the players! They are are capeable of putting on a performance, all know what they have to do!And yet only seem to turn up for the odd game..Man U last week things were fine!So god knows what went on today if they looked at it and thought 'only Everton' or what happened.Ahh if only Webb hadnt fucked up last week... Idiot 71
sacking him would be our normal reaction but thats why we are in the present situation... Stick to the coach and let him grow with the Team... Even a year or two without UCL wouldnt kill us...

Drogba, Kalou, Malouda, Lampard etc are all on stupid money that they wouldn't get anywhere other than Russia or China so i'n sure they are happy to just see out their contracts here. Until their contracts run down (most of which is in the summer right?) we can't bring in people on large wages. I imagine this is why AVB believes next year will be better. Even a year or two without UCL wouldnt kill us...I remember reading somewhere where Platini said he will take into consideration teams that fail to qualify to the CL for terms of money to break even with the rules....So yes in theory one season would not be bad. But two season, then that's bad!

How many new players has he used?.

He just play the same player no matter how bad they play. And a really point is finding outwhy they all play so bad?, thats the key and im sure Boas is the answer, and thats why he must be sack. King11Didier 916
I want to see fans like these more often:I want Jose back.Maybe it's impossible but I'm hoping to come and to be our manager for long time.I want him to be our Ferguoson to Chelsea.God some people were talking like this for AVB...The variants which I'd like to see are:1.AVB will end this season and after that Jose will come.OR2.Sack AVB soon and Hiddink or Cappello to come.I prefer the first variant. But I'm not the man who take these decisions. Laylabelle 9,534
Thats the thing at the start when they played crap..they got benched mean look at Lamps and co..so somehow the confidence to do that has been lostAnd yeah agree he needs to change things..needs to think sod it..needs to not worrying about upsetting the big names and egos and play the youngesters..or the ones who actually do care rather then playing the same crap week in week out cause they're not working.Hopfully today has opened his eyes fully! He can play young, nani, valencia, or park on the wing and not only they are excellent winger but also they offer different skill. I don't see anybody in our bench that actually can come and change the game.
