Hmm... If they knocked Steaua out they must be half decent. I hope for your sake we draw them so you can watch us! :-)

City in pot 2.... really?? City have been in the CL 3 seasons got knocked out the group stage twice and the last 16 last season. Also who the fuck are Ludogorets Razgard??
-
Beat me to it lol. I was at that game, the Carlo one I mean. 4-0 win, Kalou, Malouda, Deco and Drogba if I remember right.

This site is going to go into meltdown!! Lool!!
-
Lmao!! This thread has gone wayyyy off topic

@zolayes Yes, saddened is a better way to put it. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/08/lord-attenborough-1923-2014.html Fantastic article on the Chelsea website about the man. I never realised how influential he was in saving The Bridge. We have him to thank for so much. A stand named after him would be a great honour for a man we can probably never thank enough.

http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-11230065 R.I.P. to a true legend and our Life President. Shocked!

Jose will try and do a number on Everton here. A much more defensive minded team for me. Maybe a 4-3-3 to add an extra man in midfield. Tibo Iva, Cahill, JT, Azpi Rami, Cesc, Matic Schurrle, Costa, Hazard Ramires legs in midfield will be crucial against a hard working Everton side. And if we get a goal up Willian will also definitley be seen for his work rate. A tough match as always up at Goodison but i think our extra little bit of class will tell.
-
To be fair though it wasn't really that bad. Yes the tempo dropped from the 1st half but think about it, it was the opening game of the season. It isn't going to be all guns blazing first game. Remember we have a number of players who have not long come back from their holiday and are maybe not fully fit. We were also 3-1 up and didn't need to up the tempo. Apart from 1 good save, Tibo had nothing to do. We were comfortable.

Fantastic 1st half performance. Delighted Costa scored. 2nd goal was simply beautiful, not a goal you would usually associate with a Chelsea side. The most pleasing thing for me was the 1st two goals and i will explain why. Goal 1 - effectively a tap in. What we lacked last season as we all know was a goalscorer. Imagine last season with Torres up top. He would have either panicked and shanked it wide or not even been in that position. With Costa it looks like we finally have the guy to get those 'strikers finishes' Goal 2 - the other thing we lacked last season, a guy who could unlock a defence. What a fantastic pass from Cesc! Inch perfect and took out the entire Burnley defence. Both goals show we have brought exactly what we need. What we lacked last season we now have. The future looks very, very bright! '

Fiiiiiinally!! The day has arrived. After waiting all summer for the return of this great league, i had to sit and watch every other club and supporter get their season underway and now finally, FINALLY, our time has arrived. It's here! Can't fucking wait! So excited! COME ON THE CHELS!!! :blue scalf:
-
Why don't we just sell this guy? He obviously isn't going to make it here is he.
-
SO FUCKING EXCITED!!! :woo: I have been waiting for this since the Cardiff game back in May. Tibo Azpi, Cahill, JT, Luis Cesc, Matic, Schurlle, Willian, Hazard, Costa With that team we will actually fuck shit up!!! Come on Chels!! Lets fuckin ave em!!! :blue scalf:

Fantastic video!! The state of the pitch is unreal. Can't even contemplate them training on something like that nowadays. I have seen pictures of John Dempseys hair before. It is absolutely horrific isn't it. There was one pic i saw of him jumping for a header and his hair was floating as if someone had the static from a balloon just above his head. Hilarious!!

I realised that when i checked out your profile. Thats why i added the 2nd post and said 'I've answered my own question'
-
I see you would have only been 4 when he left. I have answered my own question lol.
-
Wasn't alive? He left the club in 2003. How old are you? The long and short of it is he took us from the bottom of the 2nd division to the CL in 20 years so can't be too hard on the man. Yes, ridiculous debts were ran up which took us to the edge of extinction but that left us perfect for the Roman takeover. So in a way the debts worked out well

Chelsea City United Arsenal
-
I have been eager to hear his take on the matter also. I am sure he will be asked the question about Chelsea fans.
-
The guy called my bluff on it. I had to save face and say i would change it even if i didn't really want to
-
Of course they did. To be fair my comment on him joining QPR was in response to a comment made on him going to City to be closer to his family. Closer to his family would be QPR, so if it was a serious comment it was silly. Looking at it like that it does look like a contradiction. Maybe i didn't put my point across as well as i could have. It's just right now i can't look at him the same way i did this time last week. The thought of him pulling on another clubs shirt makes me sick. The idea that he will have Manchester City on his record annoys me. It just does, i can't get away from it. Changing my pic is a work in prgress. I don't have access to a computer at the moment (at work in a warehouse right now) and i can't work out how to do it on my phone.
-
In what post have i called him a Judas? I have never questioned what he acheived with us. In fact in every post i have said he will never be forgotten. What i am fucked off about is how he has gone back on his word. Only 12 months ago he said he would never play for another top flight club. As soon as the $$$$ signs ring, off he goes. But most of all im fucking upset that City will forever be on his record. City will be the last club he plays for in the PL. The last sighting of him in their light blue. And that fucking frustrates me to the core. Now looking at your profile you have been supporting this club 7 more years than me, so first of all i can only apologize that you have nearly an extra 'decade of experience' on me. But really i couldn't help that given i was born 8 fucking years after you. But don't you dare question my knowledge and loyalty of this great club!! I have read and learned our history. I have the books, ive watched videos, ive read every one of the clubs magazines which have great articles on our history. I have followed this club home and away. I have the memorabilia. Whatever you feel it takes to be a 'proper supporter'. You have no idea how much i know about this club. What i do to follow them. So don't even try and question it sunshine.
-
Closer to his family would be in West London with Rangers wouldn't it? The very club he turned down only weeks ago because he couldn't bring himself to play for another top flight club.....
-
I agree, and it will be done.
-
I don't understand how some people are ok with this??? Frank said only 12 months ago he would never play for another top flight club. Out of pure loyalty to the club he shouldn't have even considered this move. For the fans who sang his name for 13 years, who worshipped the man. It is one giant kick in the bollocks to us all. 13 years he built a legacy at this club. One i thought could never be touched. He was our biggest ever legend. With one disgusting move. He has torn it all down. Yes, what he achieved here will never be forgotten of course it won't. But i will never look at him the same way again after the way he has made me feel the last few days. Biggest ever legend no more.
