Fuck, why have we already played them at home!! Imagine the reaction had he come home. Would have been incredible! Good luck Robbie, hope it goes well.

'The technical area is very clear, I have mine and he has his and he cannot come into mine.... So I just told him 'Leave my technical area and don't come back please' Haha... classic Jose

Fucking love it!! What a performance. Had them in our pocket the whole game!! The Special One telling The Specialist in Failure to sit down you have been done in a big match again you old fuck! You're shit! Fuck you Wenger, Fuck you Arseanal!! Come on the Chels!!

Proves what Lamps and Jose was saying how we have the best fans in the world. The way we treated Lamps was fantastic. With Fabregas and everything he did for them and still gets booed. Fickle, shameful with incredibly short memories. Shame on them scumbags!!

I don't just want a win here.... I wan't to fucking batter them!! Come on Chels!! Let's fucking ave em!!

One of THE most infuriating performances I have seen from a Chelsea player in recent years. Decision making - Terrible. Dribbling - Terrible. Passing - Terrible. Finishing - Terrible. After how well he did the 2nd half of last season and how well he performed at the World Cup, I seriously thought this guy was going to have a monster of a season. 10-15 goals. Make that right wing slot his own. His performance against Burnley was fantastic but since then he just can't seem to do it. Is it the selfishness? I really don't know. I can't put my finger on it. He has every attribute to be world class IMO, but something is not clicking for him right now.

Bolton at home in the 3rd round of the League Cup is a little different to Sporting away in an important CL game, mate. Jose is a cautious manager as it is, he won't risk playing someone with no CL experience in this game. Oscar will play over Ake. This is a big game tonight. Grab the 3 points tonight and with the two Maribor games coming up we should take 6 points from that on paper. 10 from 4 with one home game to play. We should be there. Have to take the 3 tonight though first and it won't be easy. Strongest possible line up for me. Tibo Iva, Cahill, JT, Dave Matic, Cesc, Willian, Oscar, Hazard Costa (I would have picked Remy and saved Diego for Sunday but Jose has already said he will start )

Turkish Airlines rumoured to replace Samsung

Maybe make football shirts affordable first. Can't charge 50/60 quid a shirt and then make people buy them or you can't come in just because they change the shirt sponsor. -
I love the way the goalkeeper just stands and watches it! Makes a goal look so good Take a bow son!!

Stamford Bridge set for major redevelopment?
boshman replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
I agree with WHS. Are 4th tiers going to work? They would have to give out free binoculars to each fan up there They really do have a job on there hands trying to fit another 18'000 seats. I just can't see it working. Be interesting to see what they come up with. -

Ok, I see. So the decking would lead the East Stand to the streets the other side of the District Line and onto the Fulham Road that way. Knocking down the hotels would, I assume, leave adding a third tier to The Shed quite simple but that would only add another 6/8 thousand seats if you connect the corners with the West and East stands? Unsure how you could add to the West, only with another tier which would make it huge and quite silly tbh. Where would the other 10'000 seats come from? -
That United game we missed a trick with last season, they were there for the taking. But that's another story. City are 10x better than United. I think going away from home to a top team like that and with the type of players they have, you need to stay compact and defensive. Maybe that was the reason we were so poor in possession. I understand your point but for me, I don't blame Jose for going their and setting up like that. It was only the 5th game of the season and we had a 5 point lead over them. I think it was more important to come out of that game still with a 5 point lead than risking getting to 8 and coming out with 2.
-
We were not 'Way too defensive' though. We had a game plan and we executed it well. Soak up the pressure which we are very good at doing and hit them on the counter. I don't see what is wrong with that. Especially away to The Champions. If we were more attacking the game naturally would open up and they would find more space to do what they do best. It would be ridiculous to allow that to happen IMO. We were poor with our ball retention which is probably what cost us in the end. If we kept the ball better and used it better we would have created more chances. I don't think it had anything to do with the defensive game that cost us the 2 points. And remember we were only a width of a post from making it 2-0 and game over.

Am I reading these posts correctly?? People are genuinely moaning because we played a defensive game against City?? Seriously?? Right, so we're at the home of the current champions of this country. Who have some of the best attacking players in the world. Let's go there, open the game up, leave massive holes for their best players to do what they do best, leave our defence exposed for their pacey, powerful midfield to do what they do best, and get annihilated.... That's a good fucking idea isn't it!!! Of course we are going to play a more defensive, cautious game away to City. If you don't do that you are stupid. We're top of the league!! 5 points clear of our main challenge (City) having already played them away. 5 wins out of 6. 19 goals scored. A goal difference of +12. What the fuck is wrong with people??

Turkish Airlines rumoured to replace Samsung
boshman replied to Waterfall's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
That doesn't look too bad! To be honest we will get used it over time. I remember thinking Fly Emirates looked shit after switching from Autoglass. Then I loved the way Fly Emirates looked and didn't like Samsung. Over time we will get used to it and won't think anything of it. -
Stamford Bridge set for major redevelopment?

I like this idea! Mainly because Twickenham is closer to me than The Bridge Certainly would be an experience watching our home games there. I look forward to seeing what plans they have to expand The Bridge also. Like Alex said, The Shed and West stand are the only two stands that can be redeveloped due to the train line and cemetery. I can't see how they will get 18'000 extra seats by just adding onto two stands.... we will see I guess. -
Scarborough. I remember that. JT header 10 minutes in and you think it's going to be a walkover. Not likely..... That Gallas handball with not long to go. How was that not given. One of the most blatant handballs you will ever see. We have been lucky down the years in terms of 'giant killing' apart from Barnsley under Avram Grant i can't think of any other time we have been knocked out by a lower league club in my time. (Going back to 97)

Nothing was more impressive than that back heel goal. I watched that live, I was only 10/11 at the time, and couldn't quite believe what i had seen. Only Franco could pull that off. Genius at work!! I also remember watching the cup game against Shrewsbury the next season. Zola's 2nd and our 3rd was a glorious chip over the 'keeper from the edge of the box. And Jody Morris scored a beautiful curler from 20 yards. Gorgeous! The Shrewsbury fans could only applaud. Totally different Chelsea now however.

1. Couldn't have gone better. What cost us last season was a lack of goals and the inability to unlock a defence. Costa and Fabregas seem to have sorted that, and how!! Replacing Torres, Ba and Eto'o with Costa, Remy and Drogba is an upgrade and a half. Regarding Didier, i would rather have left his last touch as THAT penalty in Munich. As a player, he hasn't really hit the same notes as he did in his first spell so far but then we didn't expect that at 36. The dury is still out on that one.2. Yes.... 100%. But, the key for me is Costa. If he gets injured or has a loss of form it could be curtains. I think he is that important to us. If he stays fit and in form, I think we could walk it!! 3. Our defence, an area of the pitch we are usually so strong has been strangely suspect this season. I can't put my finger on why. I would say RB is our weakest position. Ivanovic get's caught out of position too often. A lot of the goals we concede come down that right side. 4. I find the general opinion on Cahill is good. I think he is a fantastic defender. He is in the John Terry mould. Last ditch tackles, good in the air, fantastic blocks. He just loves defending. 5. Premier League. Being the best over 38 games is a fantastic achievement. Without wanting to sound all high and mighty, we have won the Champions League now and it has lost a little of its 'razz matazz' that it had before we won it for me. That's not to say I wouldn't want the Champions League, but if I had to choose. The Premier League. 6. Best - I would say Costa for Chelsea... but non Chelsea i think Sanchez for Arsenal. A fantastic player and for 30 million they got him at what I feel is a decent price. Worst - Shaw for United. 33 million for an inexperienced 19yo. Ridiculous. 7. Very good. Much improved. The young team have matured after a couple of difficult seasons and the future seems bright. Guzman, Vlaar, Delph and Benteke you have a solid spine. With Weimann (who I think is a fantastic player) and Agbonlahor upfront with Benteke you have great pace and power. Defensively however, I think you can be got at, especially against top class opposition. 8. Benteke. Top class goalscorer, we haven't seen many of them at Chelsea in recent years. 9. Costa. 7 goals in 5 games. Brimming with confidence and in lethal form. 10. A hard fought 2-0 Chelsea win. 0-0 at half time but the extra quality going forward will tell. 11. Android 12. Michelle Keegan (Yum Yum)

Maybe a poll could settle it. Forgiven or Never Forgiven. Open for a week, make your vote and the outcome is the outcome. Debate put to bed

I can only take your word on that one. I haven't seen City TV.

Quite a poor match to watch actually. Remy I thought was awful. Nothing went right for him. Had a fantastic chance 2nd half and hit it straight at the keeper. Schurrle ran and ran and ran and shot and shot... a lot of work, huff & puff but not much end product. Ake was fantastic in the midfield! Assured and confident on the ball. Made a glorious tackle in the 1st half. Was very impressed. Definitely needs and deserves more games. Also nice to see Cech back between the sticks. :-) Ok performance, nothing spectacular. Job done, now on to Villa!!

Ahh MHL. Row C, just to the right of the goal. Should have my blue and white scarf with me so keep a look out
