What a fantastic painting! Great idea with the T-Shirt also.

The over-reaction on this forum sometimes is laughable. It is pre-season for crying out loud. You experiment with different players and systems. The whole idea of freindlies during pre-season is to get as match fit/sharp as possible before the start of the season. Shake out the cobwebs. They have probable done no work on the opposition in the days leading up to it. Yet one bad game and thats it... the worlds going to end. Fucking ridiculous it really is.

From what i read on here during the last game people were jizzing over Fabregas. Now he is worse than Torres. How fickle can people be?
-
He is probably right to be fair. Our home fans are shite!

I think i can see what you're getting at in the last paragraph and i agree with you i think lol. I believe our path is set out for us. What job we get, what partner we decide to marry (or not marry) the day and way we die. People will say it is the decision we make that will decide that and yes that is right but we made that choice becaue whatever resulted from the choice was always going to happen because it happened if you get what i mean? For example i am going to die one day. The day and way i am going to die is already set because when the time comes it is going to happen. You (Dion) were always going to meet the girl in your tennis class because it actually happened, it was part of your life path. I hope that makes sense.
-
Yes, Dion is right in what i was trying to say. Of course we all have a purpose in our own personal daily lives, and to our nearest and dearest. But i mean life in general. The question was 'what is the meaning of life?' 'Life' is everything. Humans, animals... plants and trees, even going back billions of years to the living cells that fell to earth on meteorites. As humans we always try to find an explanation for things we don't understand. Always look for answers, and that is a good thing. But what if their isn't an explanation or an answer? Things sometimes just... happen.
-
Thrte is no 'meaning'. Life needs certain things to happen. Those things were around however many billions of years ago life started. There is no meaning to it, in fact i don't even believe we are supposed to be here. We serve no purpose. We (life) just happened.

Thinking of him wearing a City shirt actually makes me feel sick. Lamps said when he signed his one year deal last season 'i could never play for another PL club, i couldn't do that to the fans' 12 months later and we get all this. I agree he will always be a legend at this club for what he did but Frank knows exactly who us fans think of certain teams. Surely when the option was put to him he would have thought what us fans would think of it. It is like me or any of you pulling on a rival shirt. We just wouldn't do it. We would show loyalty to the royal blue that means so much to us. I thought it was like that for Lamps as well. Agreeing to pull on a shirt of a massive rival for me is a poor poor move on his part.
-
Lamps.... why?? So disappointed in you
-
I thought everybody here would be happy when i saw this news
-
It is obviously clever if they planned it (buying players to sell for profit). I'm am not so sure, i think they have just stumbled across it. The 4 players that we have sold for a hefty profit i am sure everybody would agree were bought to play a major role in the first team and for whatever reason it all went sour and they were deemed surplus to requirements.. In selling them we have obviously stumbled across a fantastic idea/way of generating funds.
-
A good move for him. I hope he goes there on a permanent deal at the end of the season too. He deserves the stability. It is a shame. I honestly thought he woukd be Ash's successor after the CL final and then the following season. Such a shame if never worked out like that. Good luck to him.

28 million.... aaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

When are the Belgium boys back?

The "completed" Chelsea side and attractive football.
boshman replied to Shakez's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Agree with both of the above ^^^ Fuck whatever anybody else think. They just look for an excuse because they get outclassed tactically (the game at Anfield last season sticks in my mind more than anything else, wow the amount of moaning i heard from that scummy lot after that game). Yes it would be nice to play attractive football every game and win 4/5/6-0. But at the end of the day i couldn't give a fuck how we play. As long as we win games and trophies i couldn't care less! -
I don't mean to sound bitter. Nobody has wanted Nando to come good more than me. I have willed this guy to succeed more than anyone before him. My original post was 'looking through the first few pages of this thread and we were all so happy when he first joined. If only we knew then what we know now' in response to that some guy shows a video of his goal against Barca which yes was an incredible, never to be forgotten moment. But the post seemed to be a defence of him. To say he has been a success. Even his biggest supporter has to admit he has been truly woeful in 70/80% of his time here. There is no way anybody can argue he has done anywhere near what we expected when those posts were made on the first few pages of this thread. Thats all i was trying to say.
-
I think you are defending him looking at your name... A sort of, look what he has done video i'm guessing. Let's be honest though. The only reason he was that far up field is because he lost the ball and couldn't be bothered to get his lazy arse back. A few important moments (Barca, Europa League) cannot hide the fact he has been fucking dire his entire Chelsea career. Anyone that attempts to argue that fact is completely deluded.
-
Was just lookong at the first few pages of this thread. Oh how happy we all were the few days after he signed.... if only we knew then what we know now.
-
Wow... way to piss on the parade.
-
I have this saved on my sky+. Fucking incredible isn't it!! Wow, this is better than i thought. The return of the legend. I remember at the victory parade in 2012 i thought, fuck this is the last time i will evwr see Didier. It was such a sad feeling. Then we drew his Gala side last season i thought. Yes!! One more chance to see this legend. His wave goodbye in the middle of pitch at the end of the game that night was emotional, and off he went down the tunnel. This time i was sure i would never see the man in the flesh again! And now this... incredible, amazing.... i could run out of superlatives! Welcome home Didier, Welcome home.
-
I am getting so excited for this!! come home Dider!!
-
Shit! Yeah, that's right.... back go the original question then lol. What squad number would he take?EDIT. Did Salah not wear 17 in the recent friendlies?
-
What squad number would he have with Oscar taking the number 11? Is his first number 15 available, i have had a complete memory blank and can't think who has that right now.
-
Courtois Azpi Cahill JT Luis Matic Fabregas Schurlle Willian Hazard Costa If we start with this team we will tear shit up!!
-
This guy may have been the most pointless signing we have ever made. What was the point of him? He played 2/3 games if i remember right? Don't even remember if he was any good or not.
